What!?! There is Tug of War at an international level!! That is f-ing ridiculous! Sign us up WAF, we are waaay more exciting than THAT... I can't believe what I'm reading here, joining an org like this is a no-brainer.

Leonard... I have to ask... what happened at the FILA meeting that made it a disaster? Who was there to represent armwrestling?

Ryan, this has kinda been my point all along, I wanna know what what said, who did what who didn't agree & Why. I don't care what it takes/ How much it's gonna cost/ How hard its gonna be to get Interpetors/ who's feelings get hurt/ We either need to play the major role in the Desisions the WAF is making, or Make a ArmWrestling Union- (WE ARE ARMWRESTLING) not the WAF

Leonard... I have to ask... what happened at the FILA meeting that made it a disaster? Who was there to represent armwrestling? I will have to go back and look at the minutes, I don't remember if it was Fred and Willy or just Willy but they didn't want to do the essential things that FILA wanted and more important they told FILA that we were too poor to pay sanction fees and our members did not have the money to join FILA. At that point it was over. This thing is all about memberships for FILA, that is their only incentive to take in a sport like armwrestling. If we start out telling them that we are too poor then the deals off the table.

Is it like the figures that we talked 3-4 years ago on previous posts we had back and forth and if that is the case it is very much meetable even if it was double it is still manageable with number of waf member countries..... Pls let us know and I hope willy or fred posts here to make an explanation of what happened exactly.

Sounds like lack of progressive leadership and a brash attitude problem were our downfall, please correct me if I am wrong. When you are trying to get an outside organization to lead the way for you to the IOC table then you had better be ready to strap on your a$$ kissing boots. For some reason I just don't see Fred or Willy being able to give in enough in order to make this deal happen. Trapper I appreciate what you are trying to do but it is more complicated than you think. For one thing... there are approximately 50 member countries to bring to the table and the only table they all currently sit at is WAF.

Ryan, I aint scared of a challenge bro- and just on this post alone ther are already 2 countries that have commented that means thers only 48 left to hear about it.----- acting alittle nieve yes but only to prove a point. I'm sure It's prolly been a dream of yours at some point in time aswell to stand infront of the world at an Olympic Event and no the whole world is watching you grin ear to ear flag held out in your hands.....What I'm getting at is yeah the WAF was an Idea started back in the stone age of technology compared to now days away from 2012. and if they have obviously not done ther job in the way of getting us to the Olympics for simple stupid reasons.... Yes I say get the door open and throw them out flat on ther ass. We either take over what they have...or Form a Bigger Stronger Union.... Even if it was You Ryan that wrote me Tomorrow and said (Hey Trapper I'm starting a Armwrestling Union to bennefit the armwrestlers and push forward ect bla bla bla) I would listen / I would join/ and my ass would be on here spreading the word Like a wildfire never seen befor........... It wouldn't take long. language barriers would be broken / things would ignite. It Will Work.

From what I've reaserched and found I can see that ArmWrestling Can be and Olympic sport and pretty easily, as long as we don't put it in the WAF's hands/ we need to pull together and get people to form some sort of union and have that union push us forward!

Hello Aw-Friends, I think first...we should give the WAF some time (not to long) to react to show again on which route they are on this subject in the meanwhile... Whether the responsible & active leaders are still for the idea of Olympics with all the aspects & politics behind it to get this things done or not?? If not....I mean if not in a real "effective way" then probably people/athletes who really "wishes" to see armwrestling in the Olympics someday, have to seat/talk honestly together about all + & - around it and look for an another proper way to achieve the goals for the Armwrestling-future within opportunities. But if at all...we can only solve this together and the WAF & Members of it are Big & well-rehearsed and could play a tremendous positive roll in this case...you are right there is a possibility to working all to getter and maximizing activities to success for sure. trapper: What kind of answer did you got from the Representatives about this so far?...What kind of "new" research-outcome do you have so far? stay young in heart my Aw-friend. A.K

Dude they dont like to give any imfo up.... No responces,no imfor, nothing in the form of communicating with a measley armwrestler...who am I anyway, I dont hold a position ther, I dont threatin ther funds,I dont know anything cause I'm only an ArmWrestler.....and we are dumb cave men that get drunk and have to prove how macho we are by armwrestling...., But I do know this much----( If we want to be in the olympics we must form some sort of uinion, federation ect. and have the people at the top of it contact FILA and meet ther guidlines to be brought into the OLYMPICS through the Sport of Wrestling!!------Ohhh yeah the down side .... ummmm if we don't do it ourselves it wont happen/so if you want it,and you claim to dream about it....
