I was thinking while lying bed if Travis has what it takes to win in poland? I mean i have the upmost respect for his pulling abilty and acheivments and i could at this moment only wish for what he has done.i have been to the europeans, worlds and seen monster pullers from around the world.Sure Travis has a fantastic toproll which is a lethal weapon used correctly but has he got the hook to match imbragim or the length of arm to beat Taras (some one who he may not be able to roll over and has to win in the hook).can he beat Matt Girdner who i beleive beat him comfortable in vegas. and again the so called grudge match with Veovoda who he had a controversal win over in canada. with the european refrees will he get his thumb nail covering setup? And most of all will there be a man who can topple Mr Brzenk? These were just my thoughts interesting though to find out if the champ of the world can do it. Good luck Travis

It's nice to know that you are thinking about me while lying in bed at night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do have my concerns about the POLAND event!!!!
1st: I do not have the Hook for Ibragim but I do feel most comfortable when my opponent is trying to hook me!
2nd: I think that I (at 275lbs) will simply distroy Taras.... Any way I see fit...
3rd: MATT GIRDNER is a beast and I think he will be the toughest opponent.... I do have a plan and we all will have to wait and see if it can be followed through...
4th: Veovoda will be ready and in my opinion will be the favorite to win the heavyweights....... He is bigger now and most likely stronger... I have watched the match at the worlds and do not see any controversey.. Can you please let me know what you seen? I will tell you that if he thinks I beat him unfairly, then he is most likely not contrentrating on pulling me better this time, in that case he will lose again....
5th: Know REF can stop me from doing what I do, the REFS recognize that I am the BIG ATTRACTION and would not dare interfere........
6th: Brzenk is the problem, I do not have an answer for that one, I do have a plan, but truthfully do not think he will lose....
Thanks Travis

Good answer Travis uve proved your talk is just as good as your pulling, true champion some may say. i personally think in the canada match you had better of the setup i thought they let you get a little to high on the hand and used your huge and likeably presence to intimadate the refs.plus maybe you were a little over your way.but this is what this boards for and i hope if you every get to see me pull you to will be honest.thanks paul. p.s i only think of you when the wifes asleep.ha ha good luck in poland

I think Travis will go far at Zloty Tur!!! He has one of the absolute best toprolls in the world, if not the best, and that is exactly what is needed at Zloty if you ask me.
Last years winners in the overall class were: 1. Alexey Voevoda 2. Taras Ivakin 3. Ion Oncescu
All of them are toprollers... There are so many armwrestlers that pulls in the hook in eastern Europe and I think the easiest way to beat them is in a good toproll. (if your name is John or Matt, please don't care what I just wrote)

Paul, I can not promise you that Travis will win. I can promise you that he is much more rounded than people think. He is not one dimensional. Plus he spends hours watching his oppenants tapes to prepare for them. He leaves nothing to chance he may fovor top roll but he has plenty everywhere else also. Good luck to all the competitors I cant wait to watch and PULL Christopher Myers

Hi Travis,
I´ve spoke to Igor Mazurenko in Germany at the international competition "Over the top" this Saturday and he told me that Ibragim Ibragimov quit with armwrestling forever. He said he talked to him on telephone and Ibragim said that he has lost his sponsor and has some privat problems, too. He quit with armwrestling forever. That is what Igor told me.So I think You can maybe stop thinking about Ibragim as a strong hook opponent. For the other opponents I wish You good luck and a strong arm this day. Hope I can be there to see You all winning in Poland!
Robert.

At 275 lbs I would say Travis’s will be very well rounded.
Enough so that he may need to buy an extra set of pants.
I knew we shouldn’t have asked Matt to come….he is going to scare all the competition away. ;D

Paul, As you know, at the WAF Worlds we do not referee in the finals if a competitor is from our country. That doesn't prevent me from watching the match as I am the Head Referee. I was closer than anyone else except for the 2 referee's at the table and I can tell you that it was a fair and even grip that the two armwrestlers received. Travis got a good start and that is that. Veovoda was concerned about how Travis was gripping him and he blew the go. Too many opponents of Travis worries about the set up and therefore blows the start. All the so called controversy is nothing more than sour grapes. The referee's at the table did a good job.

Man , i know i'm not the best looking armwrestler , but i didn't think i was that ugly to scare competition away ! It's too bad that Ibragim is leaving the sport . From what i know of him , he was a legend . BUT I WILL SAY I CRUSHED HIM AND PUT HIM OUT OF THE WORLDS !! From what i have heard about most of the Russian and Ukrain pullers , they like to hook . BRING IT!!!! That is where i am at my best , and as far as being able to toproll , just ask the current WORLD HEAVYWIEGHT CHAMPION if i can toproll . Like Travis I too am well rounded , i am train harder for this tourny than any other before. This isnt a tourny of me , Travis , John , and Ron beating each other . IT'S THE U . S. of f..ing AMERICA KICKING THE WORLDS ASS !! I just need to figure out how i can get past John winking and blowing kisses at me just before the go , i just might be able to beat him !! THANKS AGAIN TO ALL THAT HAVE HELPED ME AND THE TEAM MAKE IT TO POLAND.
