Hold on a second there Engin... You’re a big reason this force is going to Zloty. You and others in Europe asked the question “how would USA armwrestlers do against Europeans”. And under your advisement …”don’t go there alone John”. Good advise…so here comes not one, nor two, but many heavyweight Pros. Matt is excited not only about himself , but everyone traveling with him …as am I…. He is not making some general geographical political statement…and he’s not saying every known American will beat the World. It’s his way of getting excited… Understand this. Matt, Ron, Travis, myself and others have pulled each other enough through the years. So I have to agree with Matt…I truly hope we don’t destroy each other before we get a chance to pull some new arms. I am not going over there to get in a war with Matt, Ron or Travis. Of course unless there the only ones left to beat… then all bets are off, and my comrades are going down…with a wink and smile I’ll crush them all like little girly men. But first I / we need to beat these so called Duramen… ;D This team is somewhat your fault Engin…so stick around you and others will have your answer soon.

Hey Paul, at 40 I have to be careful…I am just happy to be able to do some of the things lately that I lost a few years back.
My body has been responding positively lately. The elbow has allowed me to pull some, and the weight training is going in the right direction. I can’t push myself as hard as I would like to anymore especially when it comes to armwrestling without going the wrong way. But if I can keep from hurting myself in the next two months I will mentally be very happy with the outcome.

John, having my answer about zloty result and what i complain about at my last post have nothing to do with eachother.and to create this team is not a fault! its a great idea and its one of the greatest or the greatest event of the armwrestling history.so if i make a statement with my excitement before i come to a US tournament and say'im going to kick American's ass',would you like this as a friend?i still am supporting this team and am planning to be there even if i wont compete.so my point and your answer have nothing to do with eachother.

there is another thing that needs to be corrected in your post,John.i never asked a question about how the American heavyweights would do against Europeans.i always said, wrote and believed that you guys would win.yes i told you to not to go alone because of your benefit even i believe that you would still win.but why would you risk?im so happy to see that this team will prove something to the world, that is the truth.all world knows and believes that you are the best no matter even if you never win again and you have nothing to prove.i believe that Europeans need to prove themselves by coming to the US.but they didnt do it,you didnt wanna go there too until your conditions for going was paid:)you are the number 1 and you deserve more than anybody. about Matt's post,i guess we take things more serious over here.but once again im sure that if i write on this board that 'im going to kick American's ass',you wouldnt like it even if it would be a way of excitement.think one more time and let me know if you still think same way.

If you said you were going to kick my ass…I would smile. Because I understand the statement… Has nothing to do with patriotism. You want to generate some excitement, doubt, and maybe fear. Will you get into my head?…”Oh crap Engin’s coming to kick my ass”….NO. But it’s all in fun. Talk like this between competitors means nothing to me. Some people thrive on it.. Even the worst of enemy’s before the big fight become friends out of the earned respect after the competition Then with time the talk will start all over again. What their going to do to you the next time…. Take Travis for instance. I am going to kick his ass in cards then on the armwrestling table this weekend ….and after that point he’ll tell me how things are going to be different in Warsaw.

if he said he was going to kick my ass then it would be ok too.when you include the world that contains countries, there start patriotism and my reaction.

when i was in US,there were times that people had problems with myself and i did my best to hold my peace.but when it came to the point that they made fun with my country's name and sounded like turkey bird then this always turned me on.so i guess you dont understand me or my English is not good enough to express my thoughts to you.if anybody from US tells me that he is gonna break my arm or kick my ass then i would smile too.even i would react with an anger if any Turkish armwrestler told me this( if he is not one of my good friends).but i had chance to know how your culture ,and learned not to take it seriously in US.ok let's forget about it.i guess it s up to me to handle it or to leave the board.

OK you’re confusing me now.
It was a very bold statement and you are absolutely right the way it was worded is technically wrong. All of USA couldn’t possibly kick all of the Worlds ass… Some may be crazy enough to try….but yes, we would lose. This is an armwrestling board and I think he meant the US team that is going to Poland, (USA), directed at all others to take notice that would be attending, (The World).
But yes, Ok, I can now see your point. This board is different then wondering around in the States coming across the occasional knucklehead. This is an armwrestling board …no political statement attached no stereo typical name calling. Just good old fashion sport ! or in Matt’s words “ass kicking” I would have used whoopin.
Boy we both have way to much free time on our hands today…see you in Poland Engin.
And be easy on the Polish jokes…
jank out.

YOUR RACE , RELIGION , OR LOYAL PATRISM TO YOUR COUNTRY WILL NEVER HAVE AN IMPACT ON MY FRIENDSHIP TO YOU OR ANYONE...EVER! NOW.....TO ARGUE A BIT ! CAN YOU HONESTLY TELL ME THAT THE OTHER COUNTRIES , ie. RUSSIANS AND UKRAINS ARE NOT SAYING SOMETHING ALONG THE SAME LINES THAT I SAID ? I WOULD BET MY LIFE ON IT THAT THEY ARE ! GAME ON !!

Matt,i have met you long time ago and i have always found you very respectful to myself and i was also very respectful to you.i guess i took it to wrong way.in fact, only thing i expected was you to clear that we all are friends and you did this now.so i apoligise for misunderstanding your words. to answer your question,i dont know any of my country man would ever write anything about kicking the world's ass.even if any of them feels this way i dont believe that he would express this front of a board like this to not to be disrespectful.i know that you didnt mean to be disrespectful but i guess i have sspent too long time in Turkey this time and started to be a serious man again.in US you guys have high life standards and are economically much better than all eastern countries.so ppl here have hard life and its not always easy to joke when they have the pressure of economic problems. about eastern block old communist countries i dont know as much as i know about my country.they used to have an incredible discipline in their life and even the communism is gone now i believe that they still carry somethings from those days.their reactions more serious than western europe. Matt, you have suprised me when you beat Ibragým in springfield and you still keep suprising me every time i hear that you beat Travis again:)i was there when you have won Nebraska nationals in 98 by beating Paul Walther, and again when you lost to Jason in 97,and again when you beat Ibragim.you have got much stronger and i never thought you could be at the same level with these guys to represant your country in Poland.but you did it. one last thing,at your last post you wanted me to ask Travis if you can toproll.Travis!!!!!what do i hear??is this true???
