I'm doing a survey for my English class.. please answer the questions and then post them so I can include them in a essay.

If anything, What do you miss about the old days (technology that is)
Did things seem easier back in the day with less technology?

1) I like the convenience today's technology provides, and the easy access to seemingly limitless info (e.g., Northeast Board). However, I do not like it that I am expected to be reachable at nearly all times. For family emergencies, it is a great option to be reachable nearly 24/7, and able to reach out to others quickly and effectively. For everything else, 24/7 access can pain in the arse.
2) I have a smart phone. In my line of work, palm access to emails and texts are handy tools when you need them.
3) I refuse to have conversations by text. If the text is anything more than a single question requiring anything other than a yes or no answer, my return text is "Call me."
4) Original Nintendo games. There weren't too many buttons or player functions, and you didn't need a 20 page manual to begin to know what to do, and how to do it.

Yes, i love the technology. Me & my wife, we both have smartphones, we have a couple of regular sized flat screens in the house. I love being able to interact with everyone on a daily basis that i normally wouldnt get to. Id much rather text than hold a 5 min conversation on the phone. Its loud where i work & couldnt hear if i wanted to, but i can text whenever.
