Hey Everyone
Recently I submitted John Miazdzyk to the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame as a Builder for arm wrestling. See the below link for more information.
www.albertasportshalloffame.com/
I gave it my best effort have John included as a nominee.
Now, I need everyone else's help on this matter.
Everywhere we talk about what John has done for arm wrestling. With all these John Miazdzyk awards. Now is a great opportunity to tell the rest of the public at the same time get another part of recognition for our sport.
They have received the nomination and have accepted it. They are asking to supply a few items this as exactly what states in the letter.
-List of accomplishments at the National and International level.
-List of awards or recognitions received
-describe the impact he had on the sport of arm wrestling in general in Alberta
-Describe why you feel he should be inducted into Alberta Sports Hall of Fame
-letters of support from the Arm Wrestling Association
John was an Albertan and he developed the Sport of Arm wrestling in Alberta first he as others had there own version of Nationals. He was aligned with Bob O leary from the AAA as well as Mr Das from India and Panzetti from Brazil the four countries hosted First WAF in 1979 held in Wetaskiwan, Alberta.
The logo he had designed is still used across Canada is is on of most popular logos.
Now lets put the politics aside and all do a small part to give John a spot in history in "The Alberta Sport Hall of Fame"
For those Arm wrestling Association representatives who can put something together as to support or impact John had that help in this would be greatly appreciated.
Please send letters of support addressed with official letter head and statement of position etc. addressing the following:
Alberta Sports Hall of Fame
Send the letters to myself so I can compile them and submit them all together at the same time.
