It's definitely not because he's got parallel political views with Mitt. It's nothing more than a chess move

As governor of Massachusetts Romney came into a $3,000,000,000.00 budget deficit. A economy in shambles. When Romney left after 4 years in office there was a $2,000,000,000.00 rainy day fund. The man has spent 25 years balancing budgets and VERY SUCCESSFUL at it!

Although I do not support either candidate, the age old "lesser of two evils" arise, once again. I hate to say it but I believe, with Flip-Floppin/Liberal Romney going against the Socialis/Marxist Obummer, this country has assured another 4 years of loveliness.

You have to do just a little home work, if you do you will find Mitt Romney was the governor of Massachusetts... As liberal as any in our union! 85% Democrat legislature. take some time with that...... ok now To call Romney liberal lets look at the facts...
Romney cut taxes 19 times & balanced the budget ALL 4 years. Romney cast over 800 vetoes and cut entire programs. Romney ERASED A $3BILLION BUDGET SHORTFALL & left a $2billion rainy day fund.
Romney is PROVEN fiscally conservative leadership!

Riiight. Well, explain how he flip-flops on his views, and he NOT be liberal. Or at least part time liberal, depending on who's votes he's after

Unfortunately he was pro gun control, until he wasn't. Then pro abortion, until he wasn't. Then he basically wrote what's become Obamacare. Govt and govt regulations got larger under him as well. With this debt, he is going to have to do more than cut taxes, its time to significantly decrease the fed govt and he hasn't shown to be able to do that, at least at the state level. I'm not sure he can beat that marxist we have in office anyway!

Agreed! It's not a game of who you like the most. It's a game of voting for the one you dislike the least.

I know flip flop is fun to say for the kids and is undoubtedly the most over used phrase in politics. At the end of the day EVERY POLITICIAN has made a compromise to get things done. Thats politics. I hope you can see that working in a state with 85% democrats in legislature Romney had to work with or get nothing done. Thats real life. So at the end of the day what did all his compromise get the state of Massachusetts? Romney erased a $3 billion budget shortfall and left office with a $2 billion rainy day fund.

Romney has led businesses. He has led an Olympics. He has led a state. Next he will lead our great nation.

I'm not talking about small adjustments but total political views for votes. Example, Ron Paul running as a Republican, when he's a Libertarian. His political stance hasn't changed in 30 years. As far as Romney, Al covered just a few. There is a huge difference.
