Hi Mike, Would you know who might be going to South Africa? Denise is asking me to compete right and left so I am curious as to who isn't going. I would love to be part of the strongest team we can put together. Ron Klemba
P.S. I ripped my first phonebook yesterday after watching your clip from Regis. What a great feeling when it finally let go.

Hey Ron, I know that I'm not going to S. Africa.....would love to be able to go but don't have the money to go to 2 Worlds, this is the 3rd year that I could go to both, but can't find the $$$ support to do both.........even for my Brazil trip I've only been able to raise $1100 , and the rest will be coming from my very shallow pocket If you can do it, then go for it, you would be a great part of the team How thick was the phonebook? and how long did it take ? They do get easier, after your first hundred or so Mike West

Thanks Mike, The phonebook was about 700 pages and it took me a couple of trys but as soon as it began to split, the rest went easily. I can't wait to pull this gag at parties once I get a bit more proficient. Best of luck in Brazil Ron

I tried to rip one of my phonebooks after I saw the clip with Mike, but I was pathetic. I stood there like a fool, even with my small 300-page phonebook.

Hey Charlie! ;D You think your phone book is small... after seeing Mike do "his thing", I thought about trying it. But after realizing that I couldn't get another local phone book until next year, I couldn't risk tearing all 56 pages!... Maybe next year. .. Hope things are going well for you in Sweden... when are you back in the states? Take care, Elaine

Hey Elaine! I will be back next year, probably in the end of the summer if there are any big tournaments. I must hear with Andreas about it when he wants to go also. By the way, he will be in Vegas for New years eve this year.
Hope to see you again when we're coming next time. Take care!
