I have the tape and I think it was exactly the opposite. Andreas handled the match. Tzvetan tried to hook but Andreas stopped his hit sideways with his toproll. Tzvetan was very close to win, but Andreas had too much pressure on Tzvetans wrist when they were very close to the pad so Tzvetan went down. He stopped the pressure because he didn't want to drop his wrist. That is my version I have seen from the tape.
I acctually don't care what other thinks about it. Everybody has the right to have an own opinion. It's almost the same as with Travis vs. Alexey. The russians thinks that Travis did a false start, but almost all the americans thinks that the start was OK. It's impossible to change their opinions...
I agree... let's drop it! ;D

oh my friend,i wanna stop but you say something new and needs to be corrected so i feel to do it. Gashevski has lost his wrist many times before but never quit.so why would he stop this time?he even lost his wrist 2,5 months ago but didnt stop!!he lost against Vephkia but he even won like that.he lost his wris against Bondo but he beat him that way too. you write things like you can be sure what he was thinking when he quit pulling.people that were there has spoken with him and asked him why he quit pulling.his answer was as i have been telling you.and believe me that his personality is stronger than his arms and he wouldnt lie.about Travis,Russians are the only ones that think that way and Americans are not the only ones that believe everything was fair.

In my opinion, if Tzvetan didn't stop pulling, then Andreas just pulled him down in the toproll. I ask again... do you have the version with slow motion? It is so clear! I'm not saying this because Andreas is my friend. He doesn't need anybody to fight for him online but I say this because I think he won that match fair.
I wish Igor could put that match online so everybody could see it. The clip with slow motion.

i dont have it.what i cant explain to you is that Gashevski WAS NOT thinking as you GUESS when he quit.he let it go,he won or not is different subject.but he let it go.everyone thinks this way,and he has no reason to lie.he lost before too,but he didnt say that he lost because he thought it was over.but unfortunately it was that way for that time. Gashevski is a legend, has much more titles than Andreas.believe me that his personality is so great to be a liar.

Tzvetan has much more titles, but Andreas has more victories against great names in the sport. (in my opinion) Both are big legends and I respect them both very much! I have never accused ANYBODY to be a liar!!! It's all about opinions. Same with the Travis vs. Alexey issue. I don't think anybody is lying... it's all about opinions.

so what does it mean that when Gashevski is the only one that can know what he was thinking when he quits pulling and says that he thought he already won,and you still say that he didnt quit or he quit because of he didnt wanna lose his wrist?

I quote myself: "Andreas got into a better position OR Tzvetan did a mistake and didn't finish the match all the way down."
I have no clue what Tzvetan was thinking when he pulled. I have got my opinions after what I saw that day, but mostly from what I see on the tape with slow motion.

Charlie, why cant you believe what he says and that he quit because he thought he won? Engin, I just wrote that! I'll quote myself again: "...OR Tzvetan did a mistake and didn't finish the match all the way down." That mistake I'm talking about is that he could have quit pulling because he thought he was down. Can we quit this now? Please... ;D I must add that I respect your opinions and I always enjoy reading your posts. As you know I love to learn about armwrestling and I've learned A LOT from your posts and your e-mails. Keep 'em coming!
