In all actuality, it doesn't matter who we vote for in Louisiana because the Republican will take LA

I did not say he had no chance because of what the media said. In case you forgot - I believe I was the first Ron Paul supporter on here. BTW - If you are calling me one of the stupid people - feel free to IM me so I do not litter the board with profanities. Ryan, Does this mean you finally believe that Ron Paul has no chance? The only reason he didn't have a chance is the power of stupid people in large numbers..... I.e. those who declared he had no chance because the media said he didn't.

i wouldnt call anyone on here stupid Americans IMO--------of those who have made statements on this thread but it is shocking to me how many downright stupid people i know I could give/show them evidence every day of how corrupt Obama is and they would still vote for him and allow themselves to be manipulated by the mainstream media i know because i do almost every day on facebook to family and friends it can be very frustrating at times

Thank God for a congress that got in his way???
Like when a republican majority passed the NDAA allowing the indefinite detention of US citizens without due process?

So did you actually listen to anything he said? Cause it was true. Or you gonna just bash him and even though what he said was true you're not going to listen because he said it? I don't think he is a saint or anything of that matter, but it's what he was talking about and the FACTS that he presented that made it worth watching and listening to. Whatever you personally think about the guy...he was right in this speech. Bruce when i watched that i was shocked at how so many people could be fooled by such bullcrap. I think people need to pay more attention on whats said instead of how its said nobody is better imo at making bullcrap sound good ;D i have to agree with John

idk how anyone in his right mind could say we are better off now after 4 years of Obama or that we need to stick to his plan which has doubled the debt Obama has committed the unpardonable sin of attacking the Constitution and Bill of Rights i wouldnt vote for him now even if it cost me my life

Amen
Whats sad is Romney supports Obamas unconstitutional actions. And silly people think there's a difference between the two.

Thank God for a congress that got in his way??? Like when a republican majority passed the NDAA allowing the indefinite detention of US citizens without due process? Yep. That is a travesty. You live in a very black and white world, Ryan. Change is not an action, it is a process. If anything that is not perfect is a total failure to you, then no wonder you are always so frustrated. The utopia of principle will always clash with the hypocrisy of reality. You do what you can and work to improve. There are only two choices: refresh the tree of liberty with the blood of tyrants, or work within the system you have. Ranting on messageboards is neither.

It's a shame that we reach a point in our lives where we either accept hypocrisy or resign ourselves to what we cannot change.
Is it a cop out? When I was younger I would have kicked my own butt for saying such a thing. But I finally understand what my Dad meant when he would say, "I'm tired." I get it now. I'm not defeated, but I am tired.
Perhaps that little bit of resignation is what keeps us from ending up on the 6 o'clock news. The movie "Falling Down" had a great message. That could be each and every one of us on any given day if we decided to stand purely on principle.

the bottom line in all this
is that we are heading towards one world government, Economy, and the death of the dollar P E R I O D
My opinion is that Romney is almost the same as voting W back into power but if Paul or Johnson had won they would have been removed/killed JMO
I still am not sure we will even see the elections Obama may find a excuse for martial law
