Anyone know of any machine shops that make rifle barrels? I'm looking for 5.56/.223 barrels specifically. PM me if so.

Hey Mike, Is there any reason you don't want to buy from a barrel manufacturer? AR15 barrels are plentiful and come in every profile, twist rate, length, suppressor-threaded, etc imaginable. BUT, if you want something truly custom, there is a good place that will turn one for you however you want: www.adcofirearms.com/shopservices/Obviously, they won't produce anything shorter than 16inches unless you have ATF docs for an SBR. You'll probably have to call them directly if you want something unique. |

I saw 5.56/.223 and assumed you wanted an AR barrel.
I'm sure Adco can turn you out a custom barrel for a bolt gun just as easily. But again, bolt barrels grow on trees in all flavors, just cost more than AR barrels depending on profile and what kinds of treamtments you may desire (hardening, cryogenic treat, etc).
If the barrel is for something else like a SCAR, FAMAS, CETME, Mini 14.... 5.56 barrels abound. I'd still go to Adco for something unique.

Ar15performance has alot of custom AR-15 barrels he does a pretty good job. Got 2 of his barrels. a 16" 223 Wylde Socom profile melonited and a 18" 6.8 in stainless. He has them from 16" up to 20" Wilson Combat also makes pretty good barrels my pockets aren't deep enough though.
