This Phil Robertson story is exactly what the scripture speaks of. You'll be hated for Christ name.
I've got several real world friends or family that are homosexual and everyone of them knows my belief system and this post will not surprise them. They also know that however they are living I love them and will fight for them if I see them being mistreated.
The hypocrisy of this media and a lot of liberals can be pointed out in one comparison.
What do you hear all the time about Muslims? Love them, they are peaceful, don't hate them... All manor of defense from the media goes to Muslims without a doubt. But what will happen to an open homosexual in a Muslim run nation?? Beheaded, beat to death, stoned, or worse.
The worse thing a TRUE Christian will do is say hey look man/woman. The scripture says this and I really don't want you to go to hell for eternity. And that's called hate. We will be hated for Christ sake. Christians are berated constantly for hating this group or that group but let me ask you something. --
If you were blindfolded, unable to see where you were walking and I could see that a few feet in front of you was a 1000ft drop. Would you consider it hateful for me to say nothing or for me to yell and tell you to stop?
Lets say for the sake of this discussion that Christianity is not the one true belief system. It's just like any other religion. Even in that light, so whether you believe it's right or not the fact is that a person who believes the whole scripture and chooses to not say a thing is the one being hateful. Not the one that does speak up, and that's whether you believe it or not.
The thing is the leaders of the Lesbian and gay community don't want you to tolerate their way of life. They want you to support it. The media wants Christians to say its not against the scripture(and you can find some that do already), they want you to say its the right way. And that's the problem, I can believe whatever I want just like they can. But while they shout tolerance they really mean you either support my beliefs or you're hating me. The difference between the sides is I will continue to go about my life whether they choose to change or not(tolerance) but they will not stop until the voice of anyone that opposes their belief is shut up. Tolerance is not approval.
So a Nation founded on freedom and professes freedom is really just trying to suppress and suppress until Christians are shut up but don't be surprised! The scripture has said this very thing will happen.
Yes, I believe Christianity is right, is the only way, but I believe each and every person has their own personal right to believe what they want. Just because we do not agree does not mean we can't coexist. But like I said, they refuse that world and instead you must belief they are right..
