I want to get one person From each state in the west to do rankings for their state on one thread, I would also like to have that person submit a vote that would go with the rest of the state's on a regional top 10. I'm intending to eliminate some bias. I thought is update the regional rankings once every month but am open to suggestions. It also will be cool to have state rankings for your in state guys looking to climb their own ladder.
Here is my proposed structure
featherweight 0-154
light weight 165
Middle weight 176-185
Light heavyweight 198-205 classes
heavyweight 220-242 classes
super heavyweight
please let me know if you are interested

So far we have three states covered.
California - David Owens Oregon - Kyle Derby Washington - David Mackin Colorado - Garlin Brinklow and Jeff Ames
I still need help in Alaska, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, Montana, Hawaii, and Nevada. This is a way to give the people in your state novice amateur or pro a way to see where they are on the ladder. Please help!

I am really the only pro in Alaska and besides my grandson Sean Johnson the only one I know pulling. Sean is a 160# puller and at the few local tourneys we have had not one has been able to touch him. I hope he can take my pale one of these days

I like the fact that we are going state by state, I think it makes it very fair and balanced. I would still like to see a West region ranking though, comprised of those who are ranked in each state. It would also be cool to see an overall west region state ranking, on which state has the highest overall ranked pullers.
I'm less worried about how I rank, or how my state ranks, but more concerned with how our region ranks with other regions across the country. I feel the West region has quite a bit to offer and we are very hard to overlook. Maybe I'm sick of the east coast bias (college football) but I'm pretty sure people are afraid of us. Time to back this fear up with data. Numbers don't lie.

Yes I definately want to do west region, we just need to figure out a way to vote and makea fair starting point.
I think an initial list is voted, 10 spots then any arguments can be brought up from any one. That way the most possible information is available to everyone. And then we revote.
Any other ideas?
