That's disappointing. Too bad I don't get Malaysian TV, since televising the event is so important.

Did I miss something? Several months ago the talk was about 2015 Worlds being in Las Vegas as it's been 5 years since the last Worlds in North America. Will they be here in 2016 or has that not been awarded yet?
Thanks.

Fred Roy was president when USA placed bid and it was accepted. Assan got elected as the new WAF president. Following WAF Poland he decided that that quality of event was the new standard for Worlds. He attempted to negotiate new terms rather than honoring the accepted contract. His demands created a significant financial hardship so USA could not complete WAF demands. WAF now requires a live stream video satelite feed that stateside costs an astronomical amount. UAL was required to pay for it but had no rights for airing or duplication. Pretty chicken $ h! T congress that runs WAF.

That's a lot of crap! But regardless of where it is or how it happened, we need to support it. It will be awesome when the USA gets to be the host again. I feel that the 2010 worlds was an amazing event!
