Every Friday this past season I took my son to a high school football game. In going 1-9 these kids and this town showed more class and pride than I've seen. Even in a no win situation I didn't see a single head down. They are drastically underfunded, and deserve any help that we can give them.
Small town High school football is an American tradition that needs our support. This is a great place to start. By attending this tournament you aren't just supporting this school. You're supporting the ideal of every worn out practice field, every kid sweating through August practices, every stadium light pole with a couple lights burned out, and every memory kept for a lifetime.
