Friday 1/20, 2017- Weight-ins 6:00pm to 8:00pm for all classes at Southside sports bar
Saturday 1/21, 2017- Novice Weight-ins from 10:00am to 11:30am
Novice Starts at 12:00pm
Saturday 1/21, 2017- Pro classes, Masters and Women Weight-ins from 10:30am to 2:30pm
Saturday 1/21, 2017- Pro classes, Masters and women’s Start no sooner than 3:00pm or after the Novice class.
Entry fee: $25

Men's Right & Left Hand Novice 70kg, 80kg, 90kg, 90+kg
Men's Right Hand: 70kg, 75kg, 80kg, 85kg, 90kg, 100kg, 110kg, 110+kg
Men's Left Hand: 70kg, 75kg, 80kg, 85kg, 90kg, 100kg, 110kg, 110+kg
Mens Masters 0-90kg, 90kg+
Women's Right Hand: Open

Awards: 1st & 2nd 3rd, and Cash Prize in Pro Classes and Women only

Hi guys- I use to pull a little back in 1998- 2000 before my kids were born- I want to get back in it and had a few question. What qualifies you as a novice, pro or master class. I am currently 48 and my kids are all grown. I am looking to start back up.I loved it, I wasn't very good but I loved it, back than there were not may events that had novice classes so I would travel and be done pretty quick. You guys are the experts is it to late to get really good at 48. Thanks for taking the time and sorry if I put this on the wrong thread.

If you are over 40 you can pull masters class, but still can pull pro as well. Novice are considered newer to the sport and are still learning the basics of pulling and how to pull SAFELY. Some leagues ruled are if you have 3 novice wins with more than 3 competitors you must move to the open/pro division. Others it's 1 novice win, others if you place at regionals. If you've beat a "known" pro, they no longer consider you a novice.
