Jersey guy looking for a team to train with

Hi my name is Anthony and live in bridgewater New Jersey .im from the lyndhurst/Rutherford area so I'm familiar with that area too. A few years back I went to two tournaments - 1 in Pennsylvania and 1 in Atlantic City. I did ok considering it was my first time on a real table and tournament but quickly realize that strength meant nothing when a kid I beat twice in Pennsylvania beat me in Atlantic City. He told me I was strong but after training with a team for 8 months he knew how to beat me. I'm interested in finding a team to train with and actually learn proper technique and how to train. Any advice or someone that can point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hey Anthony, if you go on Facebook, look for Bob Sawick and North Jersey Armwrestling group. They practice most Thursday evenings at Bob's in North Arlington. If you prefer Sundays, look for Jim Bryan and Shawn Lattimer on FB for Team NJ south, but it'll be a couple hours drive for you. Best wishes, Paul
