Warren,
i am sure that that is Andy as you said so but he sure does not look like himself on that pic.looks like he gained someweight.
can you tell us more details of the event, like who else were there, who the winners had to beat as their toughest opponents to take first place?were there many pullers from other countries too?

As the luck of the draw would have it I was only able to go 3 rounds with the right hand. I felt really good in my first match up against one of the Norwegians and then drew Craig Sanders 80kg UK champ and then in the B side I drew Pascal Girard.. I was able to lock up with some of my fellow competitors afterwards and lets just say it was only going to be the top three guys in the class that were gonna beat me ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) Not making any excuses but I will have to learn to hit against a dead load cause everyone over here does it and it really threw me off, but the experience so far has been great. I deffinately plan on coming again.. With any luck my left will do alittle better in a few more hours. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

Good effort Vic. Im sure the experience was worth it. We knew going in you were susceptible to a hit. Something to work on along with the drag from the last practice.. Your hard work will payoff

Well Arm Wars is over and thankfully I was able to finish 4th in the left handed class.. I feel pretty good about it and I wouldn't change a thing about the experience I got while I was here.. I've learned ALOT while I was here and I now have a better understanding of the "WORLD" competition and what aspects of it that I need to train on.. I'll make this promise now... I will train my arse off and I will be back and make a much bigger statement when I do.. see everyone soon...
