Sorry to hear about your loss. Try to find peace in the fact that he gave his life for the safety of ALL OF US.. There truly is no greater way to surrender life than that. May you find comfort in knowing he's with God!!!

Heavy is the heart of parent who sends their son to war to defend us and what is right Heavier is the heart of a parent who buries their son after war having died for what is right Heaviest is the heart of the parent who buries their son after war to be made to wonder if it was right CHRISTOPHER MYERS 3/24/03 Tonya, Giving your life for our country is the most selfless thing an american can do... it states clearly that he loved all that America is more than himself. he laid his life down to protect our children and our dreams. I aspire to be that kind of hero someday Christopher Myers

I would like to take moment to thank everyone for their prayers. It has been a very difficult time. The wonderful words meant a lot to us. Chris, I also want to thank you for your wonderful and encouraging words. Ron was awarded 3 medals of honor and proclaimed a hero by the governor and mayor. Yes, he was a man who thought of others and proved that numerous times. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. I may not understand God's plan for us; but, I do know that He does not give us any more than we can handle. Thank you, my friends--my family, for your wonderful words, thoughts, and pryaers. God Bless, Tonya
