I just got back from a 10 day work related trip to find my good buddy Amedeo calling be out on the board....
I guess I should start with telling you that yes, I did hear about the event from Chris Myers a few weeks ago. Chris was going to sign us up, at that time chris did not know if the event was a 100% go or not.... I have not heard from Chris about, if in fact we are signed up or not yet.....
I don't care if Santa Claus comes, I will do my best to bust his ass!!!!!!
Amedeo, in reading your posts I have now pretty much accepted that this event will be a complete JOKE!!!! It most likely will not happen, the money will be missing, or something real crazy will happen....
SAD, the $$$$$$$$$$$$$ would be great, but as JOHN mentioned my arm will be in bad shape after POLAND!!

Sounds like a fund raiser for this guys pockets!  Possible overview: He takes the entry fee from as many people as he can get to pre-register, then on the date of the tournament, nothing happens, because he didn't get the large number of armwrestlers to sign up that he had forcasted. People try to get their entry fee back and he says SOOOO SORRY! I already spent the money, it's all gone. |

I am glad you have finally replied Travis, as I was beginning to think you were afraid to tell everyone that you had prior knowledge of this tournament from Chris Myers....
Matt Girdner and John Brzenk said that you would not keep this tournament a secret, that you are too much of a competitor....
And when you did not respond for so many days, I thought I was being taken for a liar by everyone on this board when you did not come on the board and confirm that you did in fact know about the upcoming tournament for about 3 weeks, before everyone else found out about it from me, on about Oct 18 when I got a hold of the promoter...
So, I would like to thank you Travis, for letting everyone know that you were aware of this tournament...
Once again you have shown you are a man, and you are ok in my book....

Todd, the only reason I called him a used car salesman from Michigan is because he is a used car salesman... um  and he lives in .... Michigan. While I won't comment on your taste in music because evidently it is horrible, ;D I must say I am a Weezer fan. But you are right about CT. It is like Diet New Jersey.  |
