I was talkin to Neil Pickup on Sat at Ironarm and he said that on form and in his prime, Cobra Rhodes would beat any of the best lightmiddle weights of today and was the greatest lightmiddle in history!!! I couldn’t comment myself but I’ll take his word for it!

I don't see how there could be a poll for the greatest lightweight ever without including Dave Patton. In my opinion he is one of the best if not the best lightweight ever. I have seen him beat Fred Decker and Gary Goodwich from Canada at the same event.

I would have to agree with Christian. Patton, then Cobra.

Patton is the only lightweight armwrestler that comes up when you are having a conversation about who is the best armwrestler ever. To me that qualifies him as the greatest lightweight ever.

Hiya Bill, as it was me that said it I better clarify it I guess. Firstly the statement came up when discussing Babyev Vs Cobra and I am DEFINATELY backing Cobra to have swept the match away and be drinking shots in Spearmint Rhino before Rustam knew there was a match on ha ha ha !!!

No disrespect intended to Rustam in all seriousness as he is an EXCEPTIONAL TALENT and for RAW TOP END !!! HOLY B*M FCUK BATMAN !!! RUSTAM ROCKS !!!

Its not that I don't rate Rustam because I do its simply that Cobra when he was on form and match fit was a RIDICULOUS FREAK OF GOD AT THE TABLE !!! purely and simply THE hand master !!! END OF !!!

Fair comment about Dave Patton he was and is truly one of the all time GREAT ARMWRESTLERS !!! however I am still backing Cobra Best of Vs. Best of !!!

I can write a FLUFFIN long list of Russian Freaks and Monsters that Cobra burned up if we get to talking about a "OK whose he whipped off !!!!" plus it should also be considered that he never really trained and a lot of Cobra's best wins were for money PISSED !!! ha ha ha

Seriously opinions will always vary but Patton was amazing and so was Cobra. Both men legends both are worthy to be called the GREATEST at their weight of all time and should be proud of their accomplishments.

I know that I grew up watching, admiring and trying to emulate them at the table....................

Might of friggin made it too had it not been for the enormous lack of strength and talent !!!

I will trade Paul Maidens ASS for em ha ha ha !!! plus also some stuff that might be worth a few Quid in South Africa. Swap Shop time at Worlds because we at the Freak Shop love all that old US classic footage stuff its the Camels Hump !!!
