As I sit here in my office unable to attend the WWC Sevan was kind enough to give me a move by move account of some of the key matches in the 70k class via cell phone as they were happening.
Needless to say my already piss poor attitude from having to work and not being able to attend the WWC turned to me being absolutely on fire as I could hear the crowd in the back ground during Sevan’s account of a match where Vern beat Flori, I needed an outlet for my aggression, I turned to my COC # 3……..for the first time ever I clicked it on two separate tries. I am not much of a, “every cloud has a silver lining” type of person but I certainly felt a modicum better by at least making some strides on this formidable opponent.
My best to everyone pulling today.

Thanks Chris, I cannot really control it yet, I have only managed to tap them on two seperate attempts but it is a big improvement over my previous best of about 1/8th of an inch I have been stuck at for a long time.
Closing and controling the 3 even once is a feat indeed.

Well after tearing my hand apart trying to close this # 3 for good, I had my wife hide the gripper from me, I just got it back from her, and to be frank the thing is kicking my ass.

Congrats Simon, it's certainly a feat to be proud of. Depending on which CoC #3 I try I can get anywhere from 4-11 reps on any given day. I was considering taking a run at the #4 but I'm pretty lazy. That's the next step for you

Congrats Simon.
Yes Mark the #4 takes a long plan devoted to that feat to succeed.

Though I appreciate the congrats I really won't be happy until I can master it and close it at will, since I got it back I have only been able to click it one time, hence why I say it is kicking my tail, I still have some work to do with it, so as quick as I was to tell you I had tapped them, I wanted to be honest about the fact that I am not yet in complete control of the #3.
Mark that is impressive I would be happy to just handily close it one time at will.
David, I appreciate that someone as great as you with these devices is supportive of my pursuit of this.
thank you

Simon .... you never cease to amaze me with your strength...keep it up! Missed you dude at the WWC! It's just as well...I was not in the best of shape there anyways. I actually told Devin that this one was his because I have not worked out at all since fighting this bracterial infection. I felt drained there and the only thing I had going for me there was that .... I don't give up! After the final match with Devin I almost passed out ... this infection is sucking the energy right out of me. That is why a much needed break is in order for me now ... till things clear up and I can then pull again at 100% I wish all you guys in the 70kg class lots of luck at the Arnold's and I will definately be watching for the results. The Arnold's in 2006 " I'LL be back!" trying to see how I fair against all you guys at that time.

Thank you Vern, many congratulations on your gritty and tough performance at the WWC, as always you are too strong of heart to be thwarted. I really wished I could have been there, the event was marvelously attended and the level of competition was excellent, I really believe I could have made a very significant impact in that class, I was hoping to give you and Devin a run at this event, but alas life has its priorities. Please rest and get well as soon as possible, I still have high hopes that we will see you at the Arnold, it would not be the same without you there.
If I am correct the Arnold Class could look like this for attendance at 70k.
Vern Martel Devin Bair Flori Dutra Bryon Thomas Simon Berriochoa RJ Molinare Takashi Maeyama Luke Kindt Hiroami Sato Perry Bruhm Terry Debeats James Langille

Simon.... Believe me if I thought I could go and have no medical problems there I would ... but at this stage it does not look like it is going to happen. That is a good list of 70kg pullers to go up against at the Arnold's and should be some very interesting matches. I am glad that I got to pull almost everyone on that list this last year so I have an idea of how I could have maybe done there. Maybe, I could get Engin to stand in for me at the event ;D I'm sure everyone would love that! Hopefully Sylvester Stallone will be there and come on stage for the armwrestling event again. You will have to keep all the new pullers to this event focused from all the distractions there ..... you know what I'm talking about

Simon ..... Maybe at least tell them to wear shades like you do ... so they don't get caught in a fix gaze ;D ....and all this time you didn't think I knew why you wore your shades there!
