Congratulations to Marcio Barboza and Christian Binnie for winning the Heavy Weight classes! Jake Abbott won the 198 right and took a second in the 198 left. Washington State had a large team and it felt great! LA Team watch out! ;D Give us a few years and we might give you a run for the money!

Thanks, Nicole! I definitely missed you there! It wasn't the same being at a tournament without you! Next time! April 14th! The event was tremendous. I would have to say that the level of competition was incredible. Lots of depth to all the men's classes, even with the "obvious pullers" missing from the mix. Whoever won their division was truly a winner because of the quality in the classes. It was great to see Jacob Abbott out again. It's been a long time and he looks like he hasn't missed a step. (He and Deanna have a very cute son, too! ) Sorry you couldn't make it, Simon. I'm sure you and Nicole were experiencing the same feelings during the day on Saturday. Most impressive was the fact that Bob Brown was up on stage reffing! ;D That was super to see him and the progress he's made since his accident. Wow, what a true inspiration. I don't know that I would have that kind of "will" to come back like he has. Thanks Bob! I need to say that the design of the tournament shirts they were selling- the black ones- were very clever! Good job, Denise. Real keepers. The venue was great, as well. First class. Congratulations to everyone involved in making this event happen. Good things are happening in armwrestling See you all at the next event... wherever that may be!
