Plain and simple question I think. I'm just curious as to what person setup the first organiztaional armwrestling federation here in North America or USA?

Bill Sobernes started organized armwrestling and Dave Devoto joined the fray shortly thereafter.

I don't mean organized armwrestling, I mean who had THE first organization, business, corp., LLC (I know it wouldn't be LLC, because they were just recently formed several years ago). The reason I reworded it like this is because you could have some coon here in Louisiana who claims to have the first organized armwrestling tournaments. I'm curious as to who had the money to actually fund, or begin the first armwrestling organization. |

The first event was in 1952.
It was named World Wristwrestling Championships in 1962 ;D

Leonard, when it was named wasn't it incorporated as well. Who knows? Anyhow, I am sure a samantical argument will ensue nonetheless. |
