That video is awesome... What are the chances of getting this sport back to that.
POP QUIZ? Who can tell me who the first guy is flashing Cleve Dean?
Hint... He went on to pro wrestling.

Harold, I know, but of course I filmed the match. S.N. is a clue for everyone else.

Christian, I know who it is...does that make me an old fart?
I am curious that if he was a Teamster, would J.B. have still won the truck... I am not sure if those 2 ever pulled eachother.. I'll ask some of the "old farts" out here in S.D.

You must be! But then again you have a relationship with guys like John Woolsey, Allen Fisher etc so that kind of helps. I'm sure you guys talk alot about Petaluma and the Over the Top tournaments. Not many pullers know about pullers from the 70s and 80s, unless they are " Old farts " or know pullers from back then. Plus the " old fart ' thing was a dig with Steve and Guy, we mess with each other that way. Even though I'm not NEARLY close to HIS age. What are you doing in South Dakota? I thought you were in California? Good luck with you arm!

Sorry Christian, S.D... San Diego. Thats what we call it out here. Your right, hangin with these old guys, we do talk alot about the old tournies. Especially with Bruce Way, being that he helped make the movie what it is to the non-armwrestling world. That guy has great stories of "Over The Top" and Sly stories as well.
Thanks about the arm. I will be fine, Im in good hands.
Harold
Hint # 3 on who that guy is. He is orig. from Minneapolis. Not that that helps any... Steves hint is the best...S.N. Does anyone else know??

Christian, Two more years and I'll be 50, I guess that will make me an old fart. Of course, as we age we can just move the age limits up, old fart has to be 75 at least ;D

harold,
the tournament was a once in a lifetime experience, but it did have pros and cons just like everything else. It was the longest tounament I ever attended. Went all night and the sun was coming up as I walked back to my room. Very hard to keep yourself up for a tournament for that length of time, not to mention lack of sleep! The movie was of course the first priority and the tournament would be stopped to film, but it sure was a lot of fun.

Thats the man. The stories I hear of this guy are almost unbelievable. One I heard was he could bench over 700 pounds. WOW!!! Dont know how solid that story is, but Im still impressed with the win over Cleve in the video.

Ty TY ;D. I have always looked up strengh guys.. He is to have been one of the FEW guys to have really benched over 700lbs.. ( no shirts, no problem) I may take some heat on this one but these shirts are getting crazy. I met Bill Kaz at the Arnold last year and he was very open on how there should be a No Bench Shirt Class..
WCW did play up on his Armwrestling from time to time.
