Thats in the books as one of the best tournaments around.
Smoke machines going, loud music, good looking card girls, very good venue. Igor put alot of time and money in to this event. Its getting bigger every year.

Neil Pickup made a good MC, as well as a referee. Also reffing were Monika Duma from Poland. She did well. Dragos Coroveanu from Rommania, his first year. And Igor Kolobov from Russia.

At frist glance I thought team USA would do just ok.
I was wrong they did better then ok. There was alot of heart in all the matches. Why travel this far just to do ok.

From what I observed, it appears that we are lacking in the endurance dept. We ran out of gas at the end--Matt
John and Travis. I don't know how Chad, Chris or Selearis felt. Bath he was funny all night. He has this "hail mary" move I'm not sure about from the defense side.

AND for the first time ever, I saw John Brzenk talking to himself after the slip out with Taras Ivakin.

On the plane you have alot time to think. Like the oxygen mask that suppose to help you breathe, its really there to muffle the screams.

I'm tired.

Congratulations to everybody for the great job you've done. I didn't expect to find US team so friendly. It was a real pleasure for me and my friend Ion Oncescu to be at Zloty Tur 2004.
