Simon,
From your postings on this board you have extremely strong opinions regarding the AAA. We would like the opportunity to sit down face to face and discuss your differences and opinions to hopefully shed some factual information into the light as well as try to reach an amicable solution.
As of today, November 15, airfares are $234 from Los Angeles, California to Jacksonville, Florida. We will book and pay for your round trip ticket to come to the Florida State event for a meeting as well as competition if you would like to compete.
If you are in agreement, we would fly you in to arrive Thursday evening with a meeting beginning Friday morning and lasting however long needed and departing Sunday.
As you do not know me, I need to make you aware that my work schedule is always subject to change. Right now the plan is for both Karen and myself to meet with you.
Please let us know as soon as possible in order for us to make arrangements as necessary.

Can you fly me down also? I'd like to discuss how you ruined my event in March... A few people will be there to that have some factual info that will back my story... You can also return the money for the mystery fliers that were never sent out!!!!!!!! I like to have at least one of your family members on board to, just incase you decide to have the plane highjacked.... I put nothing past you!!!!!!!!! Your Friend, Travis

Travis, you are ;D SO WACKY !!! Give them a change Travis, you make me laugh so hard ;D!!! However, I think you should give Frank and Karen some space and try to solve this issue...Try and put the past behind, and see if you people could work together.... You, together, will put on a hell of an armwrestling event, so for the better of the sport, try and give them a chance... Hail the King Always your pupil, Amedeo Goga

I do appreciate the flight offer, unfortunately I will not be traveling anywhere save one impending trip this month, because my wife is due with our second child in January, some time after that I may be available. My schedule is also quite chaotic so I would not expect you to lay out anything in advance toward my last minute availability, when we have this meeting I will take care of the flights myself, thank you very much for the offer though. I really do appreciate your interest in having a discussion with me, admittedly I am bit curious about the sudden interest in little old me just now, considering I have been speaking out against things I have seen happen within this sport for the past 4 years, several I expressed in questions direct to your organization that went without response.
Regardless, this period of unavailability allows us to properly detail the agenda and topics for such a discussion. To be quite frank I am not really interested in trying to convince you of my position any more than I am interested in having you try to convince me of yours. If you have some very substantiating proof to the contrary of a perception I hold I will certainly review it and respond as is appropriate. As an example I believe several pullers have been treated with the utmost indignity and unless you are prepared to give me a “smoking gun” document to the contrary, rehashing our different versions of this is not going to change my mind nor is it going to facilitate any resolutions between us.
I will send you a private email giving you the short version of what took me from simply disliking what I saw to speaking out, and hopefully we can formulate a conversation that will move this sport forward.

Wow!!! What a surprise! I'll bet the next surprise will be that he will be the first to start back up with the chicken sh t comments about the AAA. Coward. At least Travis backs up his talk with action. You have to respect that. No matter if Travis is right or wrong the man stands up for his convictions and would show up at any meeting to discuss them. Especially if it was paid for. lol It's just got to suck to be so perfect that you can't sit down and have a discussion face to face with the very people that you have slandered and lied about. Just stay in that hole and hide behind the keyboard. But rest assure, One day you and I will have that discussion and it won't be as pleasant as the one Karen and Frank are offering. Here’s my gift for you. It comes in the form of advice. If you see me walk away.

How about next time I see you , you walk away because I am capable of breaking you into 5000 pieces. would that be fair? or make me right or you wrong ? if everyone else thinks it is o.k. for Colleti and his deap seated Napolean complex to start trouble and threaten Simon let me know then I will stay out of it ,but I dont think that you guys think it is OK and would like you to post your opinion Christopher Myers

Chris, this is in response to your post only. I may be misunderstanding something here, but are you representing AAA through your last post? It looks as if by Frank not coming back in and replying to Simon, and you are, makes it seem as if you are their hired gun. Simon did say he was going to send them a private email and their discussion has been kept off of this board, thus far. I think it would be in the best interest for Frank (AAA) to address your most recent post. I will say this; I respect the course of action that Simon is taking to get all the ducks in a row. I wish I had that time before I met with Karen a couple of weeks ago. Even though the meeting went fine, there were issues that needed to have further discussion on, but weren’t. There are always, “should have”, “could have”, and “would have”-s, but without being completely prepared you go in with a sense of blindness, even if you are confident with your own arguement. After all, there was an immediate misunderstanding between Karen and myself on her board. Even considering my short preparation for an agenda to discuss I wanted to get my issues resolved and I have accepted the result of our meeting. Maybe this is personal between you and Simon, but you once advised me to keep it off the boards. It just “looks” like the dead horse is getting beat again. By making threats, especially physical ones, you lose credibility in your arguement.

I want to make it clear for the record that I am not taking AAA's side or Simon's side. I respect that Simon has something to say and stands up to it I also think it is very very big of Frank to be ready to refute the claims and fly Simon to a meeting. What I dont like is threats or bullies or people who dont know when it does not directly involve them. Simon is sending private Email and I KNOW that Frank and Karen will answer it and that thesubject matter is for them and them only, unless they choose to invite us in on it physical threats really really really get my goat maybe Simon is more than capable of defending himself but I dont like bullies never the less Christopher Myers

Travis, I would hope that I could always play with you...This debate (referring to yours and mine) Has always been for the spirit of debate. Nothing more. Chris M, The last post that Simon made to me ("The two gifts" post) sent this over the edge and truly pissed me off. He speaks to everyone on this board in a condescending manner but he needs to understand that in my opinion his kind is normally found under my shoe. I am sorry if that came across as a threat. I viewed it more as advice.

Christian, In my message I never said I would kick his face in. I said our discussion would not be pleasant and that he needs to stay out of my face and out of the discusion. But for the record and you.
Yes I will stop.

Chris once again you show how ill informed you are, and you go to great lengths to really make yourself and the group you are speaking on behalf of look quite bad. If you read my post it says that I would not travel save one impending trip, I meant this one to SA, more on this in a minute, I will gladly speak to Frank and Karen after my return sometime after my daughter is born as soon as we can work it out, if they still deem it as necessary. My trip to SA, Chris you come on here accusing me of talking and not doing anything about it, well what have you done except regurgitate the same old nonsense again and again where are your actions? Well letfs talk about mine, I do talk a lot about the status this sport because it means a great deal to me, so when I was asked to come to SA to be present as the voting representative for the USA group, (due to Davefs inability to attend) I made the decision to explain to my wife the importance of this opportunity I asked her parents to come to my house for the entire week to assist her and I spent a significant amount of my own hard earned money to go come here after I did every thing I could to get my job in a position to allow me to attend this event not just to pull but because I wanted to serve the best interest of armwrestling in whatever way I could when it was asked of me to do so.
Some brief results of which: I was given the full support and authority of the WAF to pursue a specific and detailed fact finding inquiry as to the requirements of a world leading IOC recognized major sports organization that is interested in having armwrestling as an affiliated organization along with the other major world recognized sports it currently represents. We can discuss this topic more later.
I am being considered to serve on the board of the NA organization, and I voted in the 2004 congress on behalf of the Armwrestlers of the United States, where many important issues were discussed and decided upon. Those are just a portion of my actions Chris, again what have you done?
Regarding your post Chris, lets just say I hope you had no intention of making a physical threat against me, I am an extremely capable grown man with a family and I will not tolerate threats against myself my livelihood or how either supports my family, from you or anyone, not even god almighty himself (Travis Bagent) and I would suggest to anyone that doing so is not only stupid but actionable, not to mention that anyone doing so has absolutely no idea what they be getting themselves into, so lets for the moment assume that was not your intention as you continue to speak as though you represent the AAA.
I greatly appreciate the support of the intelligent individuals on this board, I will continue to try and do what little I can for this sport where and when I can.
Kurt this the best board on the planet, and for most part armwreslters are the best people anywhere.
Chris no I did not send an email to the Beans yet because I thought it more appropriate that I finish my attendance here at the World Championships before I did so.
Chris care to discuss what is really going on in the sport of armwrestling or are you only interested in what you wish to believe?
I am going to make this entire post including your comments and the comments of others in response to you, available to all of the Federations and officers in attendance here, just because I think it paints a very interesting picture of what is going on here in the USA.
