Mike West helped me alot when I was starting out. He provided advice through email and provided videos of tournaments he taped. Yes Mike and I are both old enough to pre date ArmTV.

Mike also traveled to Michigan, with Mike Bowling, to perform feats of strength and outreach at amateur tournaments hosted by a friend of mine. He inspired lots of beginner armwrestlers with his donation of time and talent. Plus that strong man stuff is just cool..
