I heard that it is NOW scheduled for Jan 29th. Does anyone else know if this is true? Amedeo? TRAVIS: isn't this the same date as your Supermatch Tournament?

Josh, it is Bobby Buttafuco's tournament and the last time I talked to him he said he was planning on taking a trip up for training some time soon. He was planning his sitdown for sometime before the end of the year. I don't know yet if it will come to fruition. When they do set a date it will likely be posted on the nycarms.com schedule page.

I'd love to know about it James, if you hear something please share. I haven't seen Bobby in a long time, he was a constant puller in CT during the 80's & early 90's.

Amedeo, aren't you going to respond... I also wanted to ask you if Nick has decided upon the location, find out how much it is going to cost him, because I have connections to a HOT place where everyone can view the pullers from a balcony... you cant beat that! So call me! www.GeeiGotit.com/ "Internet Starting Point"

AS I HAVE SAID BEFORE, I DON'T WANT ANY RESPONSIBILITY ABOUT THIS EVENT...
I WANTED TO DO A SERVICE TO THE ARMWRESTLING COMMUNITY THAT THIS EVENT WAS ABOUT TO HAPPEN !!!
WHEN TRAVIS, CHRIS MYERS, RON BATH AND OTHERS WENT TO ZLOTY TOUR IN POLAND, I TOOK THIS GUY NICK TO MEET WITH ALL OF THESE SUPERSTARS OF ARMWRESTLING....
I HAVE NOT SPOKEN TO NICK SINCE THAT TIME !!!
I HAVE CALLED HIM 3 TIMES TO TRY AND GET MIKE SELEARIS'S TABLE BACK, BECAUSE MIKE HAD LEFT IT WITH HIM WHEN THEY SHOT A COMMERCIAL....
I HATE TO ADMIT IT, BUT IT SEEMS TO ME THAT WHAT JAMES RETARIDES AND THE HATER WERE SAYING AND WERE THINKING, THAT THIS GUY NICK IS A FRAUD, IT SEEMS TO ME THAT IS MORE THAN LIKELY TO BE A REALITY...
NICK HAS NOBODY YET THAT HAS SIGNED UP, AND HE IS CONTINUOUSLY ASKING FOR MONEY UP FRONT...
SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT, AND I TOLD HIM SO ON A FEW OCCASIONS...
I AM NOT INVOLVED WITH HIM ANYMORE, AS HE IS REFUSING TO TAKE MY ADVICE AND BE UPFRONT WITH EVERYONE REGARDING HIS INTENTIONS....
THAT'S ALL I HAVE TO SAY FOR NOW...

Nick e-mailed me over the weekend to do a commercial with Travis this week. He wanted someone who can get to NYC by car and who IS COMPETING. I e-mailed him back and told him that I wasn't competing. So anyone who is a Super Heavyweight ( thats what he wanted ) call him.

Hi guys (& girls) , He called me as well for the same reason, but after asking a few guys (& from the look of the replies on this posts here), I don't think too many people are willing to cough up $275 especially in advance to someone they never heard of... Alot of the guys (like Billy Biceps.- not Collins) have been telling me it's way too high of an entry fee, and would not enter for more than $50 bucks... Maybe Billy Biceps was right when he said... "Lets be realistic, most arm wrestlers are not millionairs, nor big gamblers"... If my calculations are right & if he is relying on entry fees to run this event, then will need a min of 36 guys to enter just to break even... So if he is relying on entry fees, I do not see this happening... like Billy said, "He needs to get his sponsors to cough up prize money & entry fee should be free, then he will get a turnout"! This guy Billy B. is a bloody genius... maybe he will run a big cash tournament? www.GeeiGotit.com "The Internet Starting Point"

Hey Bill Collins, you got to help this guy out, but you have to call him, because he is so important to the sport, and he is so well known that he won't call you a nobody like you from the West Coast...
Just being sarcastic....Hope you don't take me seriously, because you know what I am about....I hope reads this and takes my advice and calls you, or Kurt, or Josh, all of you who are proven successes at running an event..
