I noticed that the NAL has a tourney in Denver the same weekend as the AAA NAtionals. Is one tourney going to effect the other? Who is going to what tourney?

It shouldn’t… NAL is professional league. AAA nationals is amateur Armwrestling.

Where are the NAL events listed? I went to the NAL site and it only listed Reno for 2007 events.

playing devils advocate to John
Cobra Rhodes won the triple crown last year and He isn't considered amateur
I see what your point is but as long as pros continue to pull non cash events it blurs the lines...
when Professional armwrestling explodes AND more people begin to armwrestle you will see the gap widen between amateur..and pro...but until then the current state of armwrestling depends on both Pro and Amateur pullers alike to support all tournaments both cash and non cash events

when Professional armwrestling explodes AND more people begin to armwrestle you will see the gap widen between amateur..and pro...but until then the current state of armwrestling depends on both Pro and Amateur pullers alike to support all tournaments both cash and non cash events very very true.someone who makes 100 dollars by winning in a local tournament is considered as winning a pro event while all those great athletes like Ron Bath,Tzvetan,Babayev brothers,Roman,Zoloev,Liliev,Lubomir,Sharon,Pushkar,Taras and many more to count now, have competed the last WAF and-or EAF which are in general much harder than any other PRO events. NAL looks great!the competetion places, the head ref, what the title pullers receive, the qualification base and the rest look nothing but great for the beginning(with the current popularity of armwrestling it would not be realistic to expect more than what NAL offers for the beginning).IMO NAL is one of the best thing that ever happenned to the sport of armwrestling.
