Hey everyone,
Just returnrd from safari after the worlds. Great time and wicked tough competition. Everyone seemed well prepared.
I look forward to filling you all in.
It's true about Babayev, No one even slowed him down. In the left open I was thrilled to place 8th as my bracket paired me against the top two Russians early and they felt like robots, and Babayev crushed them.
I lost to Finland on Wed. and figured how to defeat him on Thurs which felt good.
I gave it my all and learned a lot for next time. I think to beat the europeons, it requires a change in training from what we do for nationals.
