Sorry, but I just don't see that as being realistic. That is just my opinon. I would like to see some big tournaments get started down there though. Cancun would be a pretty pimp ass place to have some tournaments.

Hello John, Glad to see ya finally made it on the board, I also got his reply this morning. I'm trying to get more info and will keep this board posted as they come in. I'm not sure if they want United State taking thier money or if it's an activity for Mexico. A respond will tell
Goodmorning Bill; I am looking for some added interesting competition....My father Vic Cuadra and myself have been in the armsport arena since the seventies,,,through NAWA and Petaluma, and many other venues....this event is a personal fundraiser....the thing is , these people down here are machismo filled, ready to bet, competitve and just ready to have a good time......and there is huge $$$ down here....i just finished building my table, Corona Beer just sponsored my t-shirts, radio spots and posters....if it doesnt seem likely that you can make it for this tournament,, i will be have the semifinals in 2 months....We are here in the Avocado capitol of the world, one of the most greenest places on earth....Bill it is beautiful here...Uruapan,Michoacan, just 200 miles or so from Mexico City.....If you can make by this weekend i will host you on my behalf...get back soon...i will check my email later today.....Tuesday 10 am
Sincerely jon cuadra

As mentioned, keeping this board informed with the Mexico event the $50,000 turned up a little short, here ya go!
Hi Bill- sadly to say, I was a little over zealous with my initial choices of prize money...I guess I wasn’t realistic with the source of the funding....so here are the new weight categories and prize money...1st place is equivalent to about $500 dollars.....that is about a months salary around here....second is $250...this was for the heavy weights over 78 kilos....light weight category 77 kilos and under..first place $250 and 2nd place is a bottle of tequila....

Simon that's easy if 500 is a months salary, you know the Tequila is low bid.
