No real explanation Matt except what used to make me enjoy it and want to do it just isn't in me anymore.
Thanks Curtis.
I'll still be around but just not training or competing anymore.

Well , you sure are doing a good job of promoting if all of these people show up. But we will have a match one day.

Angel Cosme's reply to Anthony Snook's question "Angel, can you guarantee me a win? yes 100%"
Humm, a rather bold statement! If I were Shane that would sure fire me up!
On the Angel Cosme vs Shane Alger Lefty Challenge match, I would make a prediction on this but I have never pulled Angel and I have no idea what he brings to the table. I will say this, I have pulled Shane several times over the years and he is very strong! Always alot of fun pulling him, he gives it his all, and he will be ready I AM SURE!

I wonder how guys like Norm Devio, Harry Bean, Badger Drews, Josh Stark, and Ron Ermini keep that passion for the sport going. Meanwhile, some great pullers lose the passion...George Givens comes to mind. Will George Givens and Pete Milano ever get the bug again? Or are they not even close to being interested again?

What keeps me going is seeing all the friends I've made over the 20 years in the sport. If for some reason armwrestling for me ever becomes something other than fun, I'm out...!!!

Exactly what you said Josh. I have made so many friends in this sport and I'm not going to give them up just because I'm not armwrestling anymore. I can only hope that they don't give up on me, but I guess that will tell me which were friends and which weren't. Also, armwrestling being fun is what kept me going and right now, it aint fun for me so I'm gonna take a step back.

Promoting and reffing are exceptions to how one might stay involved. If your goals are to do very well and you are not a genetic freak, then the work it takes to prepare can make it discouraging. If you don't love training, it's much more difficult to do well.
Many people quit because they can't get past the pain, and others get impatient from the slow methodical gains.
I love a challenge and building something in me that I don't already have is very challenging and painstaking. I love it.
Speaking of pain...I should say to get used to Mr. Browns grimace of pain because win or lose he will be hurting. Bob is it real or drama?
