Why does our society and culture do this to itself???

All the preparation boils down to a frenzy of wrapping paper and chaos

Does anyone else find holidays difficult emotionally?? These commercials with kids and family make me cry when I don't want to. All the food that my friends and family lay out is fattening and bad for me. I can't seem to find the time I need to train. We reflect back at the year while eating fudge making our new goals even harder. And, I didn't get what I wanted from Santa.

I actually love Christmas. However, I decided to do the majority of my christmas shopping yesterday on Christmas Eve. Big Mistake !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It took over 6 hours to buy presents, hours of just waiting in line.



I also find that at holiday time, I eat too much food and gain weight and dont't have the proper time to train.. However, when you take a short break from training , you come back that much stronger, giving your muscles and tendons a little time to heal. (my way of rationalizing).





Well anyways, cant wait to come to CT and train with you guys. Chris
