what is the most amount of money that you have won in a tournament?
i remember that the Main Event 2 in 1998 has given out very big money.it was the highest amout of money that i have ever seen in a tournament.there were all the official weight classes of the WAF,except one or two lightest classes.im not sure but i guess they even had an extra class in the heavyweight class.
it was held in pocatello idaho in 97 and 98.Elaine and Joel has done a great job.there were great names of the sport,Brzenk brothers(even their father),Cobra,Bongard,Woelfel,Cadorette,Victor,Ballinger,Perron,Hughes,Dubreil,Neil,Tullier,Bath,Vale,Selerais,Redden, and many more to count.they paid 1000 dollars for each class of right and left.
probably Yukon Jacks were the one of the best pro tournaments ever.i believe they paid 3500dollars to the winners.they quit organising it a year before i came to US.
and i believe that they paid 3000dollars for the first place winners in 98 tropical island tourney.i was gonna compete that tourney if it wasnt at almost same time with egypt worlds.i believe gashevski ,cobra,and brzenk were winners.i think brzenk won two classes by beating perron and bath.but i dont remember if there was another class(im getting old).
harley tournaments were the greatest tournaments after year 2000.they gave away a harley davidson.it was incredible.at least 8000dollars worth i guess.thanks to Bowling.first year brzenk,second year bongard and third year dubreil won the harley.but i dont remember who won this year.
in the end of 97 a Mexican gentleman invited 5 armwrestlers to mexico to be his team in a pro competetion.the names were Jason Vale,John Land,Scott Sibrovski,Mike(forgot last name,and my self.each of us was paid 3000dollars for that event.
even today we dont have these high amount of money as prize.there must be many more to count here but i dont remember now.Golden Bear probably was a great event too.but think about Main Event tournament.they had all the weight classes and they paid a thousand dollars for each class winners.they paid also to the placers real high money.
Tahoe tournaments have been a great excitement to the armwrestlers by also paying high prizes for MANY years.we all know for surethat every year there will be a great tournament in Tahoe end of spring.it a goal for every pro armwrestler to compete and win in tahoe.
the Vegas tourney will be a great one for every armwrestler.the place is the best in the world,its VEGAS!the prizes are the highest in the WORLD,the TV channels will be there.i just cant imagine anything better than this.you Americans say,TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE:)

... PLUS, the one person who had actually pushed the event to happen had been murdered on the reservation in the Fall of 1998... the dream died with him. He was a local armwrestler and tribal member who truly believed in the sport. That, along with a change in the Promotions manager who believed in the sport, to a young,arrogant know-it-all who wanted to bring the Ultimate Fighting in because he "simply wasn't interested" in armwrestling. (As he tossed my budget back in my face) I was livid. 
Ultimate fighting never came. Nor is he there any longer.
I can't even imagine the feeling of satisfaction that Dave and John feel when the event is complete and all who participated have nothing but good to say about it. What a feeling!
