The amazing things is the weight of it with over 100 rounds within the gun itself:10 pounds. I cannot fathom 3 rounds, in a rifle, being shot in 60 milliseconds!! Truly an amazing feat. Simon, if you can get one...or two, let me know.

Allen, I read a lot about it when they were first testing it back in the 90's. I was impressed then and the technology is still impressive now. At that time they were also messing around with battery powered electromagnetic guns that fired a sabot ( metal spike surounded by breakaway casing ) at extremely high velocities. they had devastating power and range. the army scrapped that idea also. They had land based electro guns that could hit the moon with a projectile !!! now that is cool !! the hand powered ones obviously did not have that devastating power but they were similar in power to the .223 cartridge used in the M16 great stuff I love guns !!! Being an Army Officer's son growing up on military bases by age ten I could field strip a colt .45 in about a blink of an eye I will still sleep with my Desert Eagle 50 Action Express at my side though ..... I like being able to shoot through a brick wall and still hit my target ;D Christopher Myers

My friend has over $3000 invested in his Angel LCD Force Fly edition paintball gun....it is controlled by a computer chip in the grip...it has the processing power of a pentium one, he has all the classic modes uploaded and tournament regulation overrided......over 32 modes of firing, 5 of which are programmable.....capable of firing over 30 balls per second....with his Warp Feed loader, I've seen it fire and it is SICK. I played in a game of one on one wood ball once, and I used my tricked out automag once, and that was a MISTAKE, as I had it capable of about 6 rounds a second on a lucky pull.

I'm curious how long before they descide to go through with this design. after all the techniques used in the rifle could have affects universally for all types of guns.
