I can't stand it. First, they don't have armwrestling in the Olympics, so that makes the list of power sports limited. But, when I turn on the TV all I get is a few major sports. The other night I had to wait 2 hours while they had mens basketball on one channel and other crap on the other. finally when they had weight lifting on, I got to watch the final lifts in one weight class before they jumped to Badmitten. Badmitten? Who moved that from the back yard BBQ, grandma liking, have the kids do activity while the grownups get drunk, to an Olympic sport? I can't stand it, to watch wrestling, powelifting, Judo, I can get a few minutes during prime time, other than that, I have to tape the 3am showings. It just makes me mad that only "the major" sports get prime viewing through all qualifying, when all I get from the others is when they make gold. Just frustrated I guess.

Andy, when did you get to see the Judo? I have been trying feverishly to see it. What station did it show on? I saw where Taekwondo will be on MSNBC. Does anyone know which "basic" cable channel it will show on? IKWYM about the useless sports being aired, or even in the Olympics

Allen, I haven't been able to see anything with my cable up here in Maine. It's crazy. But my sunday newspaper has some of the times they will be playing here. Check your local paper or even here on the internet. I haven't done that yet, but I am going to start with olympic.com and see what that brings me.

Ok, I will admit this. I have a new sport that I like to watch. Female beach volleyball. Where else can you watch 6' blonde women in top shape jump around in bikinis? So not all has been lost.
