Hey Jay, I just wanted to point out there is a huge typo on the page where you select either Wrestling or Arm wrestling. (The word, "Championship" is spelled, "Chanpiotship") Also, the exclamation points on your link need to be taken off; they are interferring with the linkage to the site. Just a heads up.

Very good points Allen...
Jay, are you shooting attempting to get Pepsi to sponsor, or is Pepsi shooting?

Thanks to both Harry and Allen for you help. I did not realize that the message board would make that a link when I typed it in. So here it is again; www.gcwrestling.net Trust me, as far as the typo's on the site are concerned I am going mad when I read it. I do not have access to make corrections, but I am hopeful to have that resolved, when I am in New York this week. Harry you had asked if we were shooting a commercial to lure in a sponser. The answer is no. We are shooting this weekend to promote our upcoming event and YES we are proud to have PEPSI as our National Sponser(this is not a pipe dream, it's a done deal). Thanks to both of you, and to anyone else who provides feedback or comments to me.(P.S. questions are most welcome) Jay

Hello Guy, thanks for your inquiry. this is all slated to happen this year. My target date for the National event is Oct./Nov of 2005. As for dates for future events I do not have that available at this time. We have ten more events in motion at this time. I can tell you that we are planning tournaments in N.J., Conn., MI., Ill., Ind., to be completed by April. At this time the other five in motion are not as far along, although we plan to have these completed by the end of April. THANKS AGAIN, Jay

I would love to know the dates as I am working events around the same time. I cannot compete with what you have for prizes but do have plans to run a charity event around March/April. Are you just going to plan these in states where State Directors may already have things planned? Just curious as to where the notice is.

Hi Josh, Great question I hope I can provide an answer that will be satisfactory. This is going to be a priority on my agenda, however I am not in complete control of these dates. I have obligations to sponsers and my schedule may be dictated to me. I hope to have an open line of communication with all promoters. I plan to do this by creating a honorary board of directors, veterans in the sport. These nine members are going to be my personal advisors, as I am quite aware of task ahead of me. My selection as Chairman of the Board is my good friend Tony Villa. I have known Tony for fifteen years. His dedication to the sport and his pursuit of excellence are unparalleled. He has been my training partner and mentor in the past, and his opinions will weigh heavily on all my decisions. My first member of the board is Bill Cox. He has agreed to help train and select our referees. He has also ageed to act as Eastern U.S. Regional Director. I hope by creating these positions that I can avoid as many conflicts as possible.

Jay, alot of people who have years of experience in running events & promoting them are questioning this event... and you cannot blame them, me personally think anything is possible... however many question the steep entree fee, it's just way too high... is this a gambling event or an athletic event... in professional sports, (like boxing for example), you never see such fee's... (does Tyson pay a fee ech time he fights & he wins MILLIONS)... please justify to all what's the purpose of the high fee, especially if u have sponsors like "pepsi"? Lets be realistic, most events have a $20- $50 fee & I am very certain that alot of guys will just show up if it were that low & no one would question anything...

Who is going to this so called Commercial filming, I think everyone in the area should go... we can make a practice out of it...
Jay, why don't you get the sponsors to have a free buffet & some drinks for us... that may lure some guys down...
Jay (details u left out): what time is this thing anyway... will there be any cable TV so we can watch the ESPN show... we are waiting for a reply....
What do you think guys, anyone want to come?
