I agree on the RPG's with Tony.
I like the shooters, as a matter of fact the only competitive glory I obtained in South Africa was getting my name as top dog on my old favorite Area 51 in the arcade where we were at.
With all due respect Ryan you making the comment about a sniper game and never knowing when you may need the training was damn funny.

I voted strategy, although Role Playing games are pretty fun at times.
I was addicted to the Sims for awhile, until I came to the realization that I was in charge of a life more pathetic than my own. That seemed to end that addiction pretty quickly.

I often wondered about the attraction of a Sims game, you would think people were living incredible lives via their characters otherwise why play?

No I have not, being married with children I was sure that my character would be living a life far exceeding the excitement of my own with none of the trials I would have to endure. Though when I was playing D2 I felt like I had a separate life in my computer that I was falling behind in addressing when I did not play for a while. To do list: Get new armor for Merc. Clean out storage box. Search for last Rune to complete the set. Convert lesser gems in to perfect gem. Find a back up war hammer. Get all of your equipment repaired. Kill the ancient ones. And if you have ever played the game, “find the next waypoint”
This sounds pretty much like my everyday to do list in my real life.

I also got addicted to the sims I never could understand why there is nothing fun about it. Its a sensitivity game you dont blow anything up you shoot anything. and none wins. there is no point in it at all. all you can do is build a swimming pool let them jump in and take the ladder from them , and then repent of your sin and throw the game away. I know that sounds bad but i got bored.

I think pretty much everyone who played it is guilty of that, at least a few times.
