I have been wanting to have a Texas Hold Em poker tournament after an armwrestling event sometime, somewhere, a bunch of armwrestlers in room everyone starts with an equal amount of chips, play until one person takes the whole pot? So many of the events I go to are in casinos so having a poker game in a room at those seems a little silly, but I just wondering if there are any poker fans in the sport that would be interested in getting a little game going sometime.

Simon, that would be an awesome thing to get going once the arms are just beyond holding up. I do not play Poker much, but would love to dabble in it more often than I do now. The only thing is, I have not the substance to back up the chips!!! I say we try a hand or two at the Las Vegas tourney.

Damn man you can count me in anytime. We actually have a Texas Hold 'Em league here where I live. Well let me restate that. We had a Texas Hold 'Em leage until the authorities found out, and they shut us down. Now we play at my house every Friday night from around 10pm until the last hand is won, which usually we play 2 games and finish up at around 5am My nickname is Armwrestler. hahaha I imagine that

Allen that is why we start with everyone having an equal amount of chips tournament style, maybe two tables going if enough guys want in, and say maybe there is a buy in to the event of say 50 beers….Last man standing takes all of the beers. I have only played online myself I really have no time except maybe while I am away at an event to get into a real game, I am glad people like the idea. Chris I guess I will have to start travelling with my chip case. Olin that is too damn funny, what did they do just tell you could not play at all or that you had to change the format of what you were playing for? I am not sure of the laws there in LA but could you have say had an administrative fee to play in the league, you play for points and the top placers get prize money or cool prize packages?

I have an idea. If anyone is going to AAA nationals or can am's this year, we can get a game going afterwards back at the hotel.. I'm sure the only thing we'll be able to lift is the cards and chips as our arms will be very sore. Just some food for thought!!!

I think the Arnold will be the same date as the Can Ams but I would bring my chips if people wanted to do it at the Arnold.
Doubt I will be at the AAA Nats. But you guys really should get a game I think it would be great to start doing it after events all over.

Hey Luke,
If you are at Sue's Winter Blast tourney, we can get a little game going there. Chris
Also, If anyone is interested in a friendly game after Sue's tournament, I know I definitely would be a participant..
