I just wanted to say that there has been a death at the dorms at my college due to carbon monoxide. This might make national news. If anyone hasn't checked their house for this ......... you should......

That sucks Steve. Any home improvement store will sell a detector for that. If the school doesn’t have one then you should pick one up for your self. They are just like smoke detectors!

Six were hospitalized, and two remain in critical condition. They are housing the rest of the students at Redstone campus at local hotels until the problem is fixed.
As Brian points out, this is preventable. Its unfortunate it happened. I hope all of you have something to detect carbon monoxide in your homes, this shouldn't happen to anyone.

I thought only Generators had a carbon monoxide problem.
