I am currently run all of the production and distribution operations for a large software company, we manufacture and distribute PC, XBox, PS2, Gamecube, Gameboy etc, and you? It may sound fun but it is really just shipping widgets dealing with sales issues and managing an adult daycare out here in the Peoples Republic of California.
I used to bartend back in college, I liked the fact that I did not have to worry about anything but cleaning my glasses at the end of the shift. I want to own just a couple of good old local type bars, very genre unspecific so everybody can enjoy the place, no selling food, and no night club, just a beer and highball kind of place with a good juke box.
I don’t want to run them, just own them, have an office in the back where I can come in at anytime and make some calls have a drink and scare my employees etc.

sounds like a good bar, just make sure there's some armwrestling tables in it.

Certainly Andrew that is part of the appeal for me, I can hold an event any damn time I want to.
I think it might be smart to only have the table out when I am there though.

First, Simon, stop using that damn profanity! heehee Ok, I don't care who runs what as long as we have a legitimate organization that can represent, and only represent, the interests of the armwrestlers not their ego. I for one do not nominate Travis as the President. (Man, you are too much of a hothead for such a position) I look at it like this, we are publically displaying our concerns and complaints for the how "manieth" time? We will be told something later to pacify the few that voice their dislikes (as they should voice their opinions) only to be let down later (the close unification in Vegas). THEN, we will be back in here disputing/discussing these very same concerns and complaints again. How many times has this happened? I know of 4 separate occassions since I have been in this sport (2002), and that was just on the A.A.A. board. ******************************************************** ******************************************************** Christian, I was there when Dave Patton was making all the suggestions. Bill Maenza was the main one supporting his ideas by seconding his motions. I agreed with a lot of his suggestions. Not all, but most. Simon, you can open a bar here where we live. The local bar closed down for some reason or another. In closing, I think there should be one National tournament to represent one nation, and one Worlds to represent one World. Plain and simple.
