anyone that has problems with their computer and would like assistance you can fire away with questions. That's what I'm studying here at college and I would like to offer my talent to the arm-wrestling community (after all, we are all one big family), I may not be able to answer you're question right away, but I'll do my best. Lastly if you are holding a practice that I'm at and your computer is giving you trouble, don't be afraid to ask, I would be more than happy to take a look at it for you.

If my computer locks up on me, will swearing at it help the situation? I have had mixed results in the past.

Lol, no Steve, but it's fun to think it will have an effect on it. Try threatening to sick Coti after it, it will react.
On a serious note, how often does this happen. Is there any program in specific that this has happened alot in.

It really only locks up when I'm reading Ryan's posts. So I wouldn't really worry about it. ;D

If you are operating on windows, 1)right click with your mouse 2)Go to the tile that says properties 3)There's a tab that says settings, click on it. 4)There should be a box that says Screen Resolution 5)In the box there is a tab that you can drag from left to right, drag it in the direction that the numbers underneith are as big as you can get them. 6)Press the tab, APPLY at the bottom of the window
Try this, it might solve your problem. It really depends on your monitor and your Graphics card. so I don't know if your computer can support the higher pixelation that makes scrolling across less necessary.

Tony, can you come to Idaho for a service call on my computer? I'm pretty much computer illiterate... Generous of you to offer your service and knowledge!

glad to be of service, if I could go to Idaho I would, and I really wish I could. I feel bad for people who are computer illiterate because computers are such a huge part of our society now.
If you have any questions that require alot of back and forth talking just send me a PM or if you have AIM, look me up, I'm Kyr_Ith_Null (don't ask where the name comes from, what can I say, I'm a geek. D@#$ proud of it to). Talk to you'll later

Tony... a computer "geek" who armwrestles... that's quite a combination! A good one, too. Keep up the good work! I had already decided I was going to PM you if I had an urgent question. (kinda brain dead right now to think of one) You're up kind of late, aren't you? Being a night owl, I haven't seen you on here at night that I can recall...

I'm staying up tonight while my body can still take 'up all nighters'. My schedule of classes for tomorrow is easy, and my bottle of Mountain Dew will get me through it. As for being a Computer geek and an Arm-Wrestler at the same time, It gives my opponent more reason to underestimate me (on top of underestimating me for my size).LOL

I'm no guru, but I have knowledge of the inner workings of a computer, so if Tony is not available...
