OH...MY...GOSH... CHRISTOPHER!!! HOW OLD ARE YOU? with all those injuries, a person would have to think you were in your 60's or something to have that much happen to you (and survive as well) I'm impressed anyway! Extremely interesting reading!

Ouch Cris!!!
Elaine, Yellow Jackets will build a nest anywhere. But in this case the Bees had built a nest into the ground and the garage of a lawyers office that we mow. I went along the edge to get the little amount of grass that was there and got a little suprise.
But D@%$ Cris!!! That's crazy. It's a miracle that your still alive.

Chris , why do you tell people that I fractured your wrist? I show nothing but love up on the table!!! I do remember hearing about the break later after it happenned. List of Injuries , jeez , just from adult life , cause childhood accidents would fill the board , not quite as exciting as Chris's though.
Ruptured appendix , incision infected , passed out while draining fluid and hit the shower doors , broke the shower doors and the shower head off the wall (never quite figured out how I accomplished that one , figured somehow grabbed it on the way down)
12 stiches on left wrist from claw hammer , nail broke hammer slipped , lucky for placement , 1/2 inch one way would have hit the meat of the wrist , 1/2 inch the other way would have missed completely.
Too many cuts on hands and fingers fom being a meat cutter , most the time stitches needed but too hard headed to go , gauze , tape and back to work!!
Ruptured 3 discs , surgery , radial discectomy , worked wonders , but still plagued by stiff/sore back , always will be.
Tron bicep tendon in right arm(from the long head). Actually pulled the 2003 Nationals with it , didn't fare well , least thats my excuse. Couldn't tell you the technical term for the surgery to reattach it, but basically the tendon was shortened and reattached to the upper arm instead of the right shoulder/pec area.
Hopefully thats it for a while

From a 5 roll, car accident, just came off the freeway going about 65, a 2 foot in diameter rock came off the back of a landscaping truck bounding right at me went left to avoid it, it bounced left knocking me into the curbing on the inside of the off ramp curve, the car flipped 3 times going up the hill jumped the oncoming onramp loop and rolled twice down it.
Scars from hundreds of stitches all over the top of my head Broke the rear view mirror off with my nose, just a large cut there but the mirror peg stabbed me 4 times in my left trap area took 100 stitches there.
Stitches over my right eye, intentionally head butted during a no head gear sparring session with a pro boxer.
13 documented concussions, fighting and football, but I have never been knocked out.
60 stitches in my upper lip, my brother threw a D size battery at me from 4 feet away split my lip corner to corner, (the worst stitches I have ever had)
Fell from standing on the shoulders of another kid trying to get our ball of the school roof landed straight on top of my head tearing and straining the muscles in my neck I was in a neck brace for 2 months.
Blew out my right shoulder playing quarterback in high school DE hit me as I was throwing and blew my arm all the way back to my side backwards, this is still the injury that bothers me the most, and I receive treatment on it almost every year since.
Cracked my right elbow twice playing football
I have a pattern of large scars on my right elbow from a burn I got when I fell on a very hot floor heater grate as a toddler, now that I have been training for armwrestling the scars have moved up to on top of my arm.
Completely removed all of the skin down to the bone from a couple of knuckles on each hand breaking bricks.
Broke my right middle finger and took the flesh off to the bone catching a line drive baseball barehanded.
I have a non functioning portion of my right pinkie from a football fight, punched a guy in the helmet repeatedly.
Have a 1 inch scar and a dead spot on my left hand from a thread of a 2 inch thick piece of moving cable that stabbing into my hand and ran back into the cable so I had to rip my hand off of it before it drug me into the gears.
Cracked sternum from getting hit in the chest by a runaway 400lb bull tong. ( a very large wrench moved by a 2 inch cable to tighten large sections of drill pipe.
I have a one inch scare on my right ring finger from where I performed some minor surgery on myself once a smaller cut got infected on an out of town rural jobsite.
Scars inside of my right wrist from where I put my hand through a door that was locked shut with one of those floor mounted security rods so you could not kick it open, opened it from the inside, long story.
A small remaining scar under my left pec from being stabbed with a broken beer pitcher in a bar fight.
Broke my left arm armwrestling 8 inch plate, 8 screws and one large scar. Left arm still not 100%
Hit from behind in car accident split my head open and it moved my spine 3 inches to the left, was in bed for 30 days after they put it back in place.
Tore an abdominal muscle in a basket ball collision driving the lane, it hurt as bad as anything I have ever felt to swallow while I was recovering.
Cracked tailbone, football.
Bullet wound right lower leg, not quite a graze but a pass through.
Knife scar, right lower leg (street fight)
Tore all the skin off my right knee jumping my bike off of a 20 foot high hill down to a blacktop basket ball court
Tore 6 inches by 4 inches of skin off of my shinbone breaking up a double play
Broke my right ankle twice and my left once playing basketball.
Surgery on the bottoms of both of my feet to repair torn tendons, basket ball, high arch shoes, and my flat feet.
I have more scars and have had more strains and sprains than I could possibly recall.
Elaine one notable set of scars came from my wife’s cat "Misdemeanor". In the middle of the night when we first started living together the cat jumped on me and attacked my left arm, I have a lot of scars from cats my mom had 13 cats at one time when we were on the ranch, but these were pretty bad when it happened.
This cat scratched my daughter one time, the only reason it is still alive is because my wife begged me to let it live outside and in the garage, if touches my daughter again though. Lets just say I have several high capacity handguns so 9 lives is not going to be enough.

Simon, I'm glad to hear you have a "soft spot" for your wife's cat! Steven... you are too funny! ;D This is a very interesting forum! I think we're getting to know one another up close and personal! Christian, you have lived kind of a "rough" life, haven't you? Must be the NYC thing... Although Simon seems to have had quite the life as well... AND Chris... My experiences are now very insignificant... I thought Joseph had it bad until.... Anyway... this is fun! I just love this board!
