I've been wondering who amongst us has read The Da Vinci Code. I'd like to know the thoughts of both religious and non religious types. Does anyone know how factual the book is? After seeing painting of The Last Supper I knew for sure at least some of it is factual, but how much I'm not sure of.
I started reading Angels and Demons but stopped after the first few chapters, it's very similar to TDC but I needed a break.
There are other books out now like "Cracking The Da Vinci Code", no doubt pro-christianity, but I haven't checked into them yet.

Absolute blasphemous. disgusting garbage. and from what i gathered had absolutly no credibility whatsoever. If Jesus was married and had kids where are his decendants. im not sure if they gave Jesus the credit of being God or even the savoir for that matter. If they did they ate their own tail. Totally degrading Christ. Makes me wanna blow up a tv station........j/k

I read Angels and Demons and thought it was a great Book. I just Started the Davinci code so I cant rate it yet but A&D was awesome the ending is not as strong as the rest of the book. I dont know about the code But all the information that is non fiction in A&D is factual ( History of Rome , Vatican maps , Illuminata , C.E.R.N. )
It is not a Book for Ryan for Sure Christopher Myers
