Guy... I hope you realize how much respect I have for you but I feel like I need to argue with you a bit. Ralph is a very good puller, please nobody get offended but he would have his hands full with a healthy Tim Sears. Also again not taking anything from Ralph ...., I believe he would have to be on the very top of his game to beat Marc Gatea, Ben Frenette, and Benji Dwyer. And for you to make a prediction like that and look past those guys....... Anything can happen. He's got a great coach...but to overlook 4 extremely proven pullers no matter how tough he is pulling in practice.... you are still overlooking 4 tough PROVEN pullers, every one of them known nationally for their skills on the table. Ralph can grind with the best of them, and I respect him as a man and an armwrestler, but over Tim Sears .... thats a bold prediction

hey steve bill will be at the Arnolds. I am pretty sure most of the guys here knew that, I THINK thats why they excluded him (also Mike S). Its too bad the two tournaments are the same time as the can-am is a great tournament. Go chris myers!!!!!

I'm not offended
I think it's interesting how everyone thinks I sit home eating bon-bons while others in my class get stronger
I'll reserve my picks so as to not ruffle any feathers, but, no one has it quite right so far.

I can understand what Chris is saying about B pullers but the Can-Ams deffinately doesn't have tp stay that way does it??? Wouldn't it be nice to see some top competitors come to this??? I think way to many people think of the mid to late 90's when there wasn't a huge head count at the Can-Ams.. I think people should really consider re-evaluating this tournament.. It was grown every year for the last few years...
Bill and Gerry now run two tables in order to keep the tournament moving and everyone pulling.. There is a lot of commitment on the Cox's part as to making sure there are enough "quality" refs, room available, tables and everything else...
The one thing that I find disappointing is the lack of Canadian pullers lately.. I remember when Denny D would come down with a whole team and as of late nothing... Even Philipe Russo(spelling)... Well anyways just my thoughts.. Sure would be nice to see some of the BIG names show up...
Peace

I dont think Chris really feels there are just B pullers there Vic. He feels under some peoples eyes he should be an "A" not a B and there was a message behind that B
I certainly dont fell IM a B puller maybe an A- ;D

I deffinately wasn't implying that you or anyone else for that matter is a B puller.. I was making reference to people's opinion of the Can-Ams... I mean hey I'm a B puller that's going there to pull with the determination and heart of an A puller .. I guess I would just really like to see the Can-Ams to be looked at as the Biggest and Best tournament and talent in the North East.. A place where other non Northeast pullers would be inclined to show up and pull us here in the Northeast.. Wishful thinking huh???

Chris, Wow, not only am I not feeling the love, but now I've gotta go trash all those Can Am trophies cause it's only a B tourney. What an after Christmas let down. I'm still getting over your renig of the 5 -1 odds you put out here for Mike and Craig Also, you left Allen Stilkey and Josh out of your predictions. You know what happens to guys that start overlooking people Hope you had a good holiday, See Ya Jim

Yes I think it is the best tournament in the Northeast and it is unfortunate that the Arnold is the same day and there are even a few pullers that usually brighten the Can Am's that aregoing to watch the Arnolds instead. I actually am tempted to go and watch the arnold myself as I have never been and wanted to see the booths there too.
I think it would be great if we could consistantly get NY and NJ and more Canadians there each year too
