Hey Chris,
I just can't even talk smack to you, you're too nice a guy. However you can add me to your Can Am + National title list. I also took second for the first time at Can Am last year and could only pull out a second at nationals. Can't wait to see ya and hear all about your pull with Battles in FLA. Hey if James is that good, maybe I should run down to the 198's and hide from him. ;D

Jim,
I know you have a National tittle, but it is only One , according to me and only me , because some are offended....... A true "A" puller has many National Titles 3+ and they must be relatively recent. Big JIM NORTHERN was at florida states and he did not even place top 3 and they anouced that back in the day he had ten national titles
I personally would like to see your match with James, and for the record I dont think I can beat either one of you two

Was that reference to recent a hint toward me ? I think so but that is ok.
As far as Jim Northern go's what kind of shape could he have been in after all these years and I heard he weighed 150 pounds a couple years ago. And 10 National titles NOT maybe a few.

Chris, I'm not buying your humble pie routine. Your a man on a mission and just dying to destroy anyone on the other side of that table. I don't underestimate anyone anymore. I'm looking forward to hearing all about FL state. Of Course that will be over a couple of cold ones after Can Am, I'm buying  I won't be surprised to see you in the 220's with James, myself, Sasso, Stilkey, Eric Roussein, Wagner and who knows maybe even Josh. Chris Im the first to admit I have weaknesses, and I dont feel Im as good as I was in the Mid 1980's and dont know if I can be. Not everyone is like Ray Darling ;D For the record My bicep strength is still off by 15% ( which I havent done curls but a few times in months) and my wrist is off by about the same. Side pressure hard to tell? But know that I have it in my head to train and focus on my weaknesses we will see if the gap can be closed some to whom ever ..  |

Whether you beleive me or not I have a profound respect for you and your accomplishments. To have been at the over the top and placed along with brzenk is enough to be hall of fame as far as I am concerned. My implication that you are a "B" is because you dont pull open in Nationals anymore you talk about it but dont really go much and you dont go to vegas and you dont go to Harley pull. I am not saying that you were never a "A" or that you could not be one again I am saying that you have not been doing the "a" game lately. My over explaining is to make sure that you know it is not meant as an insult sincerely it is meant with respect but it is my opinion worth no more or less than anybody elses. As an after thought even though I dont think you are on your " A" game right now I do think you were "A" at one time...I myself have never hit it and am envious of you you.....so please dont read into it too hard there is nothing to find.

Jim, I do want to be humble and thought of that way but I would never be patroninzing..what I state about myself is what I feel. I do beleive that I have "A" game potential but I am not there yet. I really really do believe that my hook is world level not national level, but my hand is not really even National level. That is reality not humility. I will be happy to have a few beers at the Can Am and even Happier to be in the 198 while you James and the rest are in the 220 . Besides everybody seems to forget that I crushed Darling last year in both Hook and Hand. and I am stronger this year a than last so why they think I have no chance against him is beyond me but we will see Christopher Myers |

Chris No offense was taken , I was just digging a little bit and trying to motivate myself some. I hope to have an "A" type game by the summer. As for your hand just do some of the things James suggested in practice, it takes a while for us inside pullers to get it... |
