Hey eveyrone, I'm still new to this sport of course, and I haven't seen a thread on this subject yet. I've been wondering what some of you knowledgeable folk thought who was/are the all time pound for pound best armwrestlers of today and all time. If you want to you can also divide by weight classes, a top ten for each. I'm still learning eveyone's names, both past and present. Any thoughts?

I like that list, I would also add Fisher and Runstrom, then you could go back for Woosley and Gabe Arceila (sp).
I think you need to look at people with something near a decade or more of success in this sport, I think Cvetan has shown the ability to be there year after year as well.

Thank you Jim I started with one of the greats when I met my friend Dan Mason in 1976 I stopped armwrestling in 1989 ( it just happened) then picked up interest in 1999 again, battled injurys and the past year finaly feel good ( except new arthritic finger pains) and ready to make some noise again this year.
When you have a young gun and always improving James Retarides as a friend and training partner he keeps me more then wanting to bring about my best.

Thayt is good, wish James my best, I miss his posts here. I quit for 5 years due to injury as well, and have just started back. I have only went to one meet, and it is hard to not be where you want to. I hope to see you this year somewhere, I will be tagging along with my partners who ARE good:)
