Who said it's acceptable as christian behavior?
It's no more acceptable than adultery, stealing, or any other type of sin. You can't swindle people for a job and claim you are closer to God than a homosexual. That was my point.

And I'm not about to go around saying who is, and isn't, trying to repent. That's between each individual and God.
For all I know, Jeffrey Dahmer is in Heaven. That is cold comfort for the families of his victims but if the guy repented then he gets to be saved, just like anyone else.
The apostle Paul was a murderer. Worse, he murdered *in the name of God. Then he got saved. He was the first one to "see the light" but Stephen was still dead, wasn't he? I wonder how Stephen's family felt about the guy who held everybody's coat while Stephen was murdered in the street.
Adultery is mentioned a lot in the bible. It was a capital crime. Tell me again to whom Christ revealed himself at the well? Then he killed her... oh, wait. No, he didn't.
Then there was the adultress who was caught in the act. So Jesus picked up the biggest rock and caved in her skull because.... oh, wait a minute. No, he didn't.
Then there was the prostitue that Jesus cast into Hell.... uh what? He didn't?

1John 2:3 ΒΆ And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
1John 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
1John 2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
1John 2:6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
1John 2:7 Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.
1John 2:8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.
Revelation 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

idk but i just felt like saying that i dont think we have much time left in this country before we start seeing things happen like the start of the tribulation and the beginning of troubles and death to some
i an no prophet lol but it would not surprise me if we see war soon in Israel which would be followed by a peace treaty that would start the trib
4 blood moons next year starting in march
obama calling for Israel to return to the pre 67 borders---------which would be the kiss of death for us to be involved in if you believe the warnings in the bible to those who mess with Jerusalem
Iran and Syria--------------Israel saying they have to stop Iran now before its to late
the failing dollar
my opinion is that we will see a major war between Israel and Iran next year in which Israel will win but will suffer heavy loss. Obama will be behind a peace deal afterwards that will involve a return to the 67 borders which they will agree to out of desperation. The results from that will be that god judges us -------------jmo
if everything stays the same by this time next year it will be a surprise to me
natural disasters that will probably come soon somewhere
i wouldnt want to be a non christian right now

I try hard not to get sucked into the doom and gloom, but it's getting harder by the day. It takes a willful ignorance to ignore what is becoming as plain as day. I realize that anybody who knows me already thinks I'm living in a bunker preparing for the zombie apocalypse. Believe me- part of me sees that coming.
I'm still holding out hope that if enough people wake up the ship can be righted before villains and their moron sycophants take us into the breach before God intends it. But every day is like watching a train wreck happening in slow motion and most of the passengers are partying like it's 1999 thinking they are on the gravy train getting free drinks.
Whatever is going on- the surprising part is just how fast all of it is happening. The rate of decline in this nation, and the world, is following the path that most historians have predicted but nobody predicted the crazy pace that it is happening at.
I don't know how bad it will get, or how long it will take. That's the part that makes me pause when every part of me says to empty the bank account and buy durable goods while the dollar is still worth something at all. But what is very real is that there are ZERO indicators that anything is getting better. None.
The stock market is going up. That is a very bad sign, since every other indicator is bad. It means that the QE (fake money being printed) is being stuffed into the stock market directly because there is absolutely nowhere else to put it. Ask yourself why the printing presses are turning out million dollar bills, but we're not using the money to pay off our foreign creditors. Why not just print away the national debt? Because nobody wants our money. It's fake and it's worthless. We can't give our money away. China is buying up real, hard assets in America because they know we can't pay and they want something tangible in their hand for the money we owe. That is the bell ringing the death toll. The dollar in your pocket today is worth 15 cents in 1933 dollars. The stock market is going up- but the value is not. What that means is that value of stock is not going up, just the price. You are watching the money in your hand shrink in value as I type this.
The bible is cryptic in Revelations as to what is literal and what is imagery. But what it is very clear on is that things will get bad, very bad, and they won't get better once the ball starts rolling.

A lot about me and my philosophy both politically and theologically has changed since I started this thread.
Especially in the time of my break from this sport.
Its crazy to think back to all the discussions we have had here. And all the people I have offended and pissed off.
Some of you might think ive grown since then.... some of you might think im even more ignorant. Haha.... we'll see
