Scott Hazelwood beat him at Michigan state championships twice! He has even beaten Ron Klemba the high chief at AAA nationals. In my opinion he is the best lefty. Go pull him he is very smart and could help you with anything you need in this sport. He's like Yoda! Hahaha!

Chris Chandler beat him as well last year at 176
BUT I do agree he is a very impressive guy both right and left hand.

Yes Bob I agree Chris Chandler is the best 176 left. I would like to see the 2 of them pull though it could be interesting. Yes Mike infact Scott flashed Robertas Twice. And I beat him right handed.

well all I can say is a year has made this kid THAT much better and he weighs 166. His right is no where near his left andhe did get beaten right at saturdays tourney. Now take this for what its worth but robertas did tell me he pulled eric weurfel? AND tom nelson over left handed. Where and when I dont know. I will have to disagree with you guys and say chandler would get beaten by robertas if they pulled now. I watched chandler pull at the TOC and he had trouble with my training partner left handed. I pulled robertas saturday and I have pulled for many years with some strong dudes but it felt like a piano was sitting on my arm and trying to move it wasnt easy!! kid is taking his vitamins regularly I think.

eric is good. I pulled him at unifieds, dumped him, he protested the match after they gave me the win. harkless felt sorry for him and we went again but this time in the strap. the refs started me with my wrist kinked forward towards eric and he got me. I think things would be much different these days if we pulled.

thanks Captain I appreciate the input and will try to chop down that tree robertas another time. Shane actually what happened was I hit him (left handed) and took him to about a half inch from the pad. he was in a major losing position and jerked his hand out with no attempt to pull me. The ref at that side of the table called me the winner, the woman running the brackets wrote my name down as the winner then eric said he wanted to protest the match. I asked the ref that gave me the win what was happening and he said eric didnt have a leg to stand on with the protest since the rules state if you are in a losing position that far over and slip you lose. Eric then told leonard the head ref that they had not been calling that rule all day and they shouldnt start now. Then leonard instead of saying sorry eric but thats the way it goes told me to come back up and pull him again. But this time he said we were going in the strap with no one having any fouls. how that worked out I have no idea! I have been beaten many times by many people and dont like to complain, but when it is at nationals and it means the difference between third place and fifth place it matters ALOT that the rules are followed. the match is on armtv if youre interested. No disrespect to eric as he is great guy and I am sure he has gotten stronger since then also, but HE knows who won that match. You ohio guys gotta stick together.

Put your glasses on Vasquez, if you think for a second after watching that match that he didnt slip in a losing position youre nuts. Why would the ref on that side of the table call me the winner then if it didnthappen that way? cobra calling a slip becuase he knew eric and not me doesnt mean that was the way it went down. I have a feeling eric has beaten you a few times in the past?? If eric can get down to my class @ 165 I would love to pull him again. I usually pull 165s but ended up in the bottom end of erics class at unifieds at 167. Take care.

alright enough said then. I am not upset only saying I was there and everyone has a right to their opinion and I respect yours. In your opinion baldino is good, and in mine I think I can take him thats all. If you look back at your previous posts about the unifieds you said you were going to be there. thats where I got the info from. Did you compete at the TOC also? I dont remember you but will have to watch the video again. I dont compete at a ton of tournaments but do go to the bigger ones.
