Snook: Chambersburg is literally right on my route, can we get something together for Sunday June 15th, late morning? I don't want to burn you up if you're going to USAAs though. That's two weeks later and wouldn't be a problem if I was going, but I'm probably gonna go to Travis'. It's only about an hour away for me. I didn't know about his tournament when I replied to your post.

I want to set something up early if possible: I'm driving back from my sister's house in Rockville, MD to Buffalo, NY on Sunday 6/15 and I'm looking for a practice along my way. Does anyone in this area practice routinely on Sunday mornings/afternoons? I'm in Chambersburg, the Potts boys are in Thomasville.

Just to save a big debate, I'm just gonna say OK. There's nothing to debate. That was straight from the horse's mouth the day of the event. Ok.

John is a 200+ pounder. UAL he dropped to 185. Arnold's, 198. In this case there was probably a big jump in horsepower in two months and 13 pounds. Just an outsiders observation. Carry-on. Snook, Toups was 202lbs the day of UAL 6. Just to save a big debate, I'm just gonna say OK.

And David, I get what the system is, but there is definitely some human judgement weighing in he, not just raw data. I'm sorry, but no one becomes exponentially stronger in 2 months. John is a 200+ pounder. UAL he dropped to 185. Arnold's, 198. In this case there was probably a big jump in horsepower in two months and 13 pounds. Just an outsiders observation. Carry-on.

Mark you've never done a calf raise in your life, your wrists are bigger then your ankles...FACT...scariest thing I've ever seen--from the waist down Mark Vieira looks like a 6 yr old boy A guy where I work has told me that I am the only person who has bigger arms than calves. After hearing this over and over again (old people like to repeat themselves), I measured. He was right. Not even close. But I can walk and run, so my legs serve their intended purpose.

Ya, you are right Joe. I'll head over and rate it. I do cringe though every time they slap a measly grand down. For fux sake, if anything is fake it's that these boys aint traveling in teams to pull for $250 each. Yeah because anybody that knows Travis knows that fker ain't showing up for less than a grand himself. I don't think it'll last but a season or two. The ultimate fighter was a hit because it had drinking, fighting and guys battling it out for a six figure contract. These guys are crying and crap over 200 bucks... "There's no crying in baseball". Nobody ever said ANYTHING about not crying in arm wrestling Mr.!

True.
How much, IDK? But it's a start. Start out small then improve as needed. There are several things that can happen. If you're only gonna test at Unifieds, get promoters on board to collect a few extra $$ per entry throughout the year (you will need honest people here...) and send the money to the treasurer as the tournaments happen. Charge a testing fee/increase entry fees at the Unifieds. Take donations for testing expenses. AAA used to charge $30 to pull at their nationals. Did anyone not go because of that? It never stopped me.. Just a few things I can think of. Surely some of you smart people out there can come up with other ways.

Awesome!
50%, 70%, 90% where does this come from? To my knowledge 99% are one, excluding myself and maybe this one other guy I train with. He's been getting stronger so he's probably hopped up now too.
In all seriousness, I think it's a huge step...
The talk about someone off cycle won't get caught, blah, blah...there is always a 'tard who gets caught.. IDK the losses that come with cycling off, or how long someone would have to be off from pissing hot, but I like my chances a little more vs old boy sauced all to hell.
Thanks USAF..

I really don't have a pick in this battle, but........were there not two major tournaments in 2004 within and hour or so of each other? I THINK it was the riverboat rumble, and the qualifier for the GNC show of strength. I could be wrong, but I'm not sure that's ever happened before. Was there all this back and forth then? This politic crap in arm wrestling is pretty ridiculous to say the least. I wish both events a huge turnout. If there is a lack of entries, I blame it on the economy, and obamacare.

I think what the UAL is doing is pretty exciting and it's all on the Armwrestler if he/she wants to sign up. I mean what Puller does not want a shot at the spotlight? So be it. Leonard and Denise have an agenda. It won't hurt them much, as they have loyal Pullers that show up. Not to mention AAA. UAL is a very "energetic" Organization. If Pullers like that ...then so be it. I do feel when they are local tournaments that local guys go to....they will have that beast in them to really want to compete and they won't be able to. I can understand Glenn wanting his freedom as a puller. If or when I ever get back to Armwrestling...I'll certainly want mine too. Robert said it himself "Unsigned Pullers can still compete in UAL Events" ...Hopefully that will be the case all the time. (It's good for Business) Now, JMO it seems a little hard to believe John Brzenk would want to be tied down to one Organization as the man always flies for free because he works for the Airlines and he loves to come in, do multiple classes and win to 300-500 first prize whenever there is that tournament. Also other Pullers on that list are in similar independent situations because they are that elite. Again this is just based on Roberts Intro of this thread. In addition BEWARE!! Roberts not only a puller himself (Travis Bagent is wrong) but a business man so UAL SIGNED PULLERS...DON"T GET SUED!! Be prepared to pay out of your pocket to travel/fly and hopefully get some of your money back. I'd say... (correct me if I'm wrong Robert) make sure all you signed pullers start saving reciepts so you can do your taxes at the end of the year and that includes if you win any prize money. BUT DONT LET ROBERT FIND OUT IF YOUR PULLING ANYWHERE ELSE..As I'm sure he has some good Jewish Attorneys. Please again, I see this as a VERY COOL step in Organization and The Feeling of being in something FINALLY Unified! But the truth of the matter is. UAL signed pullers now have a second job. You are now employes of Robert/UAL and he is your employer that I'm sure has your info like Social Security Number, DL, and perhaps proof to work in the US. Question is...did he provide W-4 forms or is everything 10-99? Regardless there will be a big Tax Season in the end of 2013 and so on. UAL is awesome. Robert is not stupid and he is a great guy. But I'm sure the pullers are helping him as much as you feel he is helping you. When a business starts employers usually hire lots of random people so the business can seperate the men from the boys. Plus in his Armwrestling reality show they need hundreds if not thousands to audition. So make sure you look pretty if you want to be on TV. HELL even the media interviews the pretty people...I know that in my line of work from all the $hit I respond to in Downtown LA. (So pretty much Jake and Jaime have that covered lol u-my boys!) So good luck UAL, if I ever become strong enough again...I'll always support your tournaments or at least be your on site Paramedic !! BTW Scott Medina is sad Robert. Sorry for any misspelled words, this was done on my cell phone with sirens on in the Ambulance in just 2 mins. Yeah those damn JEWISH ATTORNEYS I thought that comment had potential to blow up...
